About the Author

Kevin Thornburgh is primarily a poet, though he writes memoir and stories. He earned his MFA at Antioch LA and has also published Palomares Poems and That Lucky Ole Sun (which is available on Amazon.com). From the Los Angeles area, his book San Gabriel Valley Stories is chiefly a memoir of his life in that area. It also details mental illness by describing such illnesses in that setting. Mr. Thornburgh was born in 1959, and in the first set of stories, writes of growing up in the 1960s-1970s. He continues to detail the difficulties of being a mentally ill person in American society.
