About the Author

A British ex-pat who grew up an hour outside of London, Lisa attended Calvary Chapel Bible College where she met her husband. He's from California, but nobody's perfect. It wasn't until her Bible College graduation that she figured out she was a writer (someone told her). Since then she's taken the Apprentice and Journeyman writing courses with the Christian Writers Guild, and discovered a penchant for high-stakes stories of mayhem and disaster where you can find made-for-each-other love that always ends in happily ever after. Lisa can be found in Idaho wearing either flip-flops or cowgirl boots, depending on the season. She leads worship with her husband at their local church. Together they have two kids and an all black Airedale known as The Dark Lord Elevator.

I have just really enjoyed this WITSEC Town Series. There were some surprises in Sanctuary Forever, and the plot had more startling moments than I think the other books in the series did. I love that all of the characters are touched upon in each book, even though each book focuses on a different couple of people. I can always almost see the town of Sanctuary - Lisa Phillips has a very descriptive way of writing. This book is full of exciting moments - it really is hard to put down. The faith aspect of the book is very nice, not over too much...just enough. It really leaves you wondering if there could be a place like Sanctuary out there. Great series - great author!

Decent story but went on too long. I was just ready for it to be over.
