I can't stand the singing. I mean, it's so bad. Play a sample of "Lost Symphonies" and you'll cringe.

saosin is my favorite band and they really rock and have something different from other bands

Well, if you love Saosin... like i do, this is still a disappointment. Great band, poor album. "Bury Your Head" is a great song and the acoustic is great as well, great enough to buy the album soley for these 2 tracks, but overall they have lost the edge that made them awesome in the first place. Starting out as a screamo/hardcore band, they are now merely another cheesy emo band. i hate labels, but in this case it's true. Hopefully they can get back on it...

Saosin, while starting out as one of the most talented groups meshing metal, pop, and emo together, have been reduced to a mockery of their former self on their debut EP for Capitol, which is so haphazardly put together it looks like the label was just scrambling for material. Only two of the songs are good -- "I Can Tell" and "Bury Your Head", and both of those songs were written very shortly after Anthony Green left to form Circa Survive, and that was in early 2004. So, basically it took them an entire year to come up with three other bad songs. If the rumors are true that the band is having a serious case of writer's block, they should just hang it up now before they tarnish whatever legacy they might have left for good.

Yes, the band was good with Anthony Green, but with the new man behind the mic, Saosin has been able to atract new crowds. More people seem to know who they are, and Cove DEFINITELY has proven the pontential necessary to lead this band to greatness. He has an AMAZING voice and deserves evey compliment possible.

Saosin is a great band and i dont think they deserve a poor review. they have a great sound and are original, unlike most bands that write oridinary lyrics like "i feel so hurt and broken inside", which isnt so creative. I would give this album 10 stars!
