Sass jumped right into the premise of the story full-throttle in Chapter 1 with the ruse between Reed and Sass already decided and underway. I could feel the rich history and comradery that was held between Justin, Sass, and Reed. As things went on, I felt that Sass might be playing with fire and her brother Justin knew it. She and Reed were constantly growing closer and it wasn't an act. When things finally came to a head, I was thrilled and I hoped that they could make everything work out the way it should without any regrets. I loved watching them rediscover each other in these new roles. The blossoming of their feelings was beautiful. Friends for all those years and Sass with an epic crush finally come to fruition was something that many would understand deeply and connect with in this story. Chapter 24 had me feeling so apprehensive about what was about to happen with Sass and Taylor. There was some darkness to be had lingering that was always trying to creep in on Sass and Reed. I felt strongly for these characters and wanted them to be able to face each obstacle head-on and come out together on the other side. Briscoe did a great job of making me care deeply and want the best for these characters. Chapter 28 had my jaw dropping and also had me wanting to slap Reed for allowing himself to be played like a fiddle yet again. He had finally come to terms with his feelings, but really needed the time to talk to Sass and solidify everything. Lacey and her selfish plots made my blood boil. It seemed there would always be constant roadblocks in place for Reed and Sass. Their conversation in Chapter 29 made me feel like they were just talking in circles. I was so frustrated with them at this point. It was the confrontation where they each should have laid all their cards out on the table, and still they held back the words that needed to be said. When they were finally able to have a meeting of the minds, I was very pleased. Things weren't perfect, but they were finally on the right track. I enjoyed this story and will definitely be looking into gettting more books written by Laramie Briscoe.

As soon as I read the very first sentence of Sass, I was instantly addicted. Larmie Briscoe has the knap to get her readers hooked right from the get go, and I couldn't put the book down. In this highly addicting and funny book of falling for your older brothers best friend, the forbidden fruit in an essence is such a great basis for a book and Briscoe writes it brilliantly. I loved the style of the writing where it flips from one characters POV to another. I love knowing what is going on in another characters mind and their thoughts on a situation. My heart bleed for Reed Shamrock after finding the inevitable about his fiancé and longtime best friend, he is heartbroken and left to pick up the pieces of his failed relationships. However, when he starts to notice Cassandra (Sass), who is his other best friends sister, sparks fly. Briscoe writing style is brilliant, as she is able to incorporate romance and steam all in the same sentence. The sex scenes are extremely hot and sexy, and will leave you melting and wanting all at once. The chemistry between Reed and Sass is out of this world, and you will wonder why it took so long for them to hookup. I absolutely enjoyed the sexiness of the book and its highly addictive connection and chemistry between the characters. I absolutely loved Sass by Laramie Briscoe and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a good, sexy read. Briscoe does a brilliant job of creating characters with whom the audience can connect with and is rooting for. Sass should be a definite addition to your To-Be-Read Shelf.

This was just ok for me...not really much of a story. Like her other books much better.
