As it turned out, the sweet, loving, tender boyfriend I'd doted on for so long was cheating on me, and to be honest I didn't have a clue what to do about it. Leaving felt almost as difficult as staying, and so for some time I foolishly pretended as though nothing was wrong.

As I was waiting to make my purchase at the place, however, searching wildly for a cashier, I couldn't help but notice a green pair of eyes flashing in at me from the outside world.
I ran for my life, scrambling through the aisles as though set alight with fire, only to come crashing down to a halt against the glass of the drink coolers, thinking my life was a thing long done and over.
Only my guest's intentions may not have been as vicious as I originally perceived...
