About the Author

A storyteller from the time she could talk, USA Today bestselling author Ellis Leigh grew up among family legends of hauntings, psychics, and love spanning decades. Those stories didn’t always have the happiest of endings, so they inspired her to write about real life, real love, and the difficulties therein. From farmers to werewolves, store clerks to witches—if there’s love to be found, she’ll write about it. Ellis lives in the Chicago area with her husband, daughters, and two tiny fish that take up way too much of her time.

This book was my least favorite in the series. I didn't really connect with the characters. That being said I did still like the book. Ms. Leigh does write a good story. - - Gifted copy by author - - L

Phego is a Dire wolf with a history that haunts him. He is cranky, standoffs and he doesn't want a mate. Michaela is a doctor of her pack and gives 110% to people who need her. When she us called by a friend who is having a baby. She was going but when she gets there and finds a mate thst doesn't want her. Now what will she do? Then there is also danger but from who? And why? I love the action it's awesome! The mystery and drama is fantastic. The dire wolves just got a shock with some information. I wonder how or if it will change the dire? The storyline is great. I really couldn't put it down. If your a shifter fan it's a cut above the rest. Voluntary reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
