I loved Piper and Logan's story! Savior is the fourth book in Nicole Blanchard's First to Fight series and they just seem to get better with each book. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more. Piper barely survives a horrific ordeal and then has to testify against her ex-boyfriend for the crime, but a journalist hellbent on getting a front page story won't leave her alone so she moves trying to outrun him and the past. No matter how far or how diligent she is about her safety she never feels safe. Logan knows immediately that his neighbor has secrets that she's hiding and he aims to find out what they are while she's working for his aunt, but soon neither one of them want to ignore their attraction for one another, all the while someone is targeting young women in town. Logan sets out to find who is attacking and murdering women in his town, but will he be able to stop the person in time to save Piper. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

We have our main character trying her hardest to keep her violent past from finding her. Enter Logan, who can't help but want to pursue her for himself. This writer did an amazing job of bringing these two characters to life as we get swept away into this storyline. A full scale of emotions are found in these pages so be prepared. I won't write a spoiler but I will say it is definitely worth discovering the outcome. This voluntary review is based against an advance copy.

3 3/4 stars Nicole provides us with another action packed thriller that will keep you guessing until nearly the last page. The book starts in a way that keeps you riveted and constantly yearning to find out what happens next. Piper goes through one of the worst ordeals imaginable right from the get go. Once her duty is done, she leaves town and travels throughout the country in an attempt to escape her past. She ultimately finds herself in a coastal Florida town nearly coming full circle. It is there that she meets Logan. Their connection is instant, but their attraction and desire builds at a steady pace. When trouble finds her again, Logan is kind and checks on her constantly. When it becomes apparent that Piper is the ultimate target, Logan's alpha protectiveness comes out full force and is soooo sexy! While Piper attempts to keep her distance, it quickly becomes apparent that option is out the window. She believes that she can take care of herself, but is grateful for the large, muscular shoulder to lean on. I really loved this couple and their story. It's a bit different as far as stories go, but it works so well! The secondary characters were lovable and made me smile as well. I've love to see them again. The epilogue takes place quite a bit later, but it rounds out a nice HEA. What would have rated it higher for me? I had a little trouble following the timeline in a few places and the ending was a bit too abrupt for me. After all of the lead up, I wanted the why and the why her. I would recommend this read. I received an advanced reader copy of this book for a voluntary, completely honest, and non-incentivized review.

4.5 Thrilling Stars! Wow, talk about going out with a Bang! This final book in the First to Fight series started with a Prologue that will get your heart pumping and take your breath away! Then when you think you can settle in and relax a bit, it will once again take you by surprise. Piper was a carefree, wild, and reckless college student when the unimaginable happens to her. Now, years later after running from her old life, she is back in Florida, ready to take her life back. She wants to lay her demons to rest so she can find joy and happiness again. She takes a job at a Bed & Breakfast in a small sea side community and moves in across the street. Her new neighbor, Logan Blackwell, is an ex. marine, now local police officer who is dark, masculine, and sexy. She is drawn to him but isn't ready to start dating yet. Logan is intrigued by this beautiful, independent, and mysterious woman. He is patient and persistent, breaking down her walls until she finally agrees to go out with him. Soon tragic events begin happening around them, and Logan will stop at nothing to protect Piper. This story is raw, bold, and emotional. Logan and Piper are two strong characters who feel honest and authentic. I enjoyed their banter and their chemistry was explosive. This is a fast paced suspenseful journey that is exhilarating and emotional and I enjoyed every minute of it. I am sorry to see this series come to an end but look forward to what Ms. Blanchard creates next!

t I loved this amazing book. Piper Sienna Davenport and Logan Elias Blackstone meet when a reporter, Phil Exeter has tracked her down again and they're having a little chat on her porch. Logan lives next door. He keeps finding her and she keeps refusing to talk him about what happened. This book has romance and suspense, which is one of my favorite reads. I couldn't stop reading because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I won't give any spoilers, so one-click your copy today. You will not be disappointed.

I fell in love with the First to Fight series by Nicole Blanchard the first time I read Warrior. Savior was no different. I was so excited to hear that Logan was finally getting his own story. He was always such a caring and concerned friend/cop when it came to Livvie/Ben and Sofie/Jack. I'm glad that he finally got his happily ever after. Savior centers around a psycho serial killer and Piper our heroine, or the one who got away. Piper has been running from her horrible past and just trying to find a place to finally call home. She's given an opportunity to start over when she meets Logan, her next door neighbor. Logan acts a little rough at first but you learn from reading, and from the past stories, that he's just being protective of the people in his life. Logan helps Piper feel again, and in return also find herself. I absolutely loved this story. There was love, passion, and understanding but it wasn't all hurried and pushed. It just all flowed at the right time. I also loved getting little snippets of the past characters and learning how they all tie into each other (I was curious as to how Anchor tied into this whole series and I loved the answer). I loved the epilogue as well. It made me laugh because it showed just how oblivious guys can be at times, but that never stops us from loving them. Thank you Ms Blanchard for writing such an amazing story and an amazing series. I look forward to reading the final story.
