I read books 1 through 3 and loved them. I purchased book four, and while it was jest as good, for some reason, multiple chapters were missing text at the ends! I then I purchssed this one , "Sawyer", book five. Wow, it's absolute,y awful.....I agree with another review that it is hard to believe that the same person wrote it. The premise is good, but the style is competely off and the editing and formatting is absolutely horrible. I'm so disapointed. Not sure if I will continue.

This series includes some of the hottest bad boy heros imaginable. Great job Jayne. Your stories are soooo awesome because there are NO CLIFFHANGERS. That's big. I rarely read books if I know they are "incomplete", but I'll be as loyal as an MC memder as long as you write standalones.

I received an advance review copy, from the author, in exchange for an honest review. Social worker and single mom Bess Geary carries the weight of many issues on her shoulders. At work, she handles numerous foster cases, where young girls have become runaways. Funding and police aid are limited, which has made her work even harder. Also, she has to deal with her ex husband, and caring for their young child Henry. Her love life is almost nonexistent, except for the growing attraction to Sawyer McCall. However, will she allow it to continue when she has so many matter to attend to, the greatest one being Henry? Sawyer McCall business man, leader of the Great Wolves M.C., and motorcycle outlaw, has his own issues to contend with. The MC hasn't seen the last of the Russians that began moving into their territory (The Ride trilogy, which is a great series, really explains the beginning problems, and some characters mentioned in this book!). This time though, they have really hurt the club, and Sawyer won't allow that. He has strong feelings for Bess, but can he allow her to be in harms way, or has that already happened? I admired Bess's intelligence, strength and compassion. She never gave up on the girls, or on herself. Sawyer adores Bess, and will protect her at any cost. He really showed his Alpha side, at times. I don't want to give too much away, but he did make one decision concerning Bess, and I didn't agree with the way he treated her. He should have told her the why of his thoughts that were behind his actions. Still, they make a great couple, and I enjoyed the ending. Lastly, we also meet a young runaway, Alexis, that becomes a key member in this book. This author really touched on an important social issue. I could tell, by her passionate writing, that it's not only something that she researched greatly, but it really touches her heart! The story, and romance, were well written, but the issues these girls faced were so vividly told and heart wrenching. I hope this story brings more light on the subject. Thank you for writing such a great novel!! - Sarah
