Say Please (Something More, #4) by Tara West

I meant every word when I told my wife how much I appreciate the way she cares for our son, but no husband should have to fight for attention like a dog begging for table scraps. It’s about time I get some action.

I’m determined to show Andrés how much he means to me, and a romantic getaway is just what we need to rekindle our passion. But after neglecting him for so long, I hope he doesn’t make me beg for it.

Say Please visits Andres and Christina a few years into their marriage, but before the final scene in book three. The book is a touching reminder that even a couple in love sometimes needs to make time for themselves. The kids, work, chores, and life will survive. Taking a moment to remember why you fell in love to begin with and re-connect can make a relationship very rewarding. Andres and Christina have run into the real world of kids, jobs, and not enough time. They need to find a way to make the time if they are going to survive. As I mentioned earlier, it's a very touching story and an important reminder to anyone in a relationship *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*

I'm not sure what words will do this book justice. I've often finished a series and wondered what became of the characters. Tara answered that question with this book for her Something More series. Andres and Christina find themselves in the normal new parent rut. All focus is on their son. Andreas is feeling neglected but understanding when it comes to Christina's attention given to their son. He plans a weekend getaway in hopes of not only finding a summer home, but to re-kindle the flame they had before they became parents. This book reminded me so much of what my husband and I went through after we became parents. Do Andres and Christina find a way to make time for each other? Read this amazing book and find out.
