Sometimes life gives you something magical - if Drill can rescue a dragon that is.
The Old Tavern Club is a front for a shifter rescue organization. The BDSM club works well in keeping the owner's true purpose secret, but when Pirou makes an unusual rescue, it might just be beyond the club's purview. So he calls in Drill, the owner's brother.
Drill has never even heard of a dragon shifter before, much less seen one, yet that's exactly what the beast in the club's basement looks like. As he works with the dragon, he finds all his instincts insisting that this is the sub he's been looking for.
Can Drill and the dragon rescue a happy ending for themselves?

Writing under S. Michael for Het Ménage and Sean for signature M/M titles, Sean Michael leads a classic double life.
Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends days surfing, smutting, organizing an immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs.
While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and perusing the Kama Sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago."
A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.
Barring any of that? Sean'll stick with writing stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

The Old Tavern Club is an excellent front for rescuing shifters. As active BDSM club, it helps disguise their activities and keeps the purpose a secret. When Pirou rescues one shifter, he is not quite sure what to do with him. He calls in the owner’s brother, Drill. Drill never knew dragon shifters exist but as he works with the shifter, he begins to think that he is his perfect sub. There is nothing better than a story with dragons. Az, the dragon, was quite scared. He was afraid of the darts and afraid he would lose parts of his body. Drill reassured him and as he did, the two found more with each other than possible. But the road to happy ending will not be easy. These two have their work cut out for them. Will they make it? Only one way to find out. Pick up Scales and read the story for yourself. It is short but sweet.
