About the Author

Randall Wood is the author of the forthcoming thriller Scarcity, as well as the previous novels Pestilence, and Closure. Before becoming a novelist Mr. Wood spent his years in several occupations ranging from Army paratrooper, to Teacher, to Flight Paramedic. Finding time between missions and 911 calls, he would pen short stories about his co-workers featuring the odd locations and strange situations they were called to. Never quite finding his niche, he eventually listened to the little voice in his head and devoted his time to writing full time.

He currently resides in Southwest Florida with his wife Jessica, their three children, one cat, and a soon to arrive but yet to be named Great Dane puppy. He averages one novel a year.

Had to finish in one day. Didn't get anything done. Ready for more,

It is truly uncommon to have an author be so determined to have a technically correct story and still be able to maintain the plot suspense (See Tom Clamcey). Randall Wood does just that. Well done indeed.

Love this author! Great characters & plot. Really draws you in and keeps you in suspense until the end. I will read all of this author's work.

Finished the book and loved it. If you don't like gory truth then this will not be a good read for you. This crap really goes on in today's society. The author, I believe, hit it right on the nail. I wish Jack had played a bigger part in this story but other than that

Great plot, well constructed, and well written! Lots of action but also lots of intrigue. Great book and series!

Another great book by Randall Wood. 668 pages of suspense but a little graphic in places.

I was so impressed with this book.   It really covers the current 'body-organ pirating'  going on worldwide. HOW HORRIBLE & SAD. Hopefully, it makes people aware of this 'harvesting' and the danger to young people. (Kidnapping) Kudos to the author for the overall stories presented - have to wonder about Karma to Jimmy.

Good read, I enjoyed the previous books and this was interesting as well, but...where was Jack Randall??? This is supposed to be a Jack Randall book, but he is very, very rarely in it. If you want to write a non-Jack Randall book, that's fine. But don't call it a Jack Randall book when the supposed main character barely makes an appearance.

I'm a fan of this author and the Jack Randall FBI series (Pestilence and Closure), but was disappointed with this book. The main character, Jack Randall, is very rarely in this book. Very gory with a storyline about human organs sold on the black market, drugs, and a drug leader who needs a new heart. Story line skips around so much I had a very difficult time keeping the characters straight.
