Scattered: The Forced Relocation of Poland's Ukrainians after World War II based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
Fantastic book! While it was indeed a story of her family the author did manage to give a voice to all those affected by these forced relocations whether they think of themselves as Lemko, Rusyn, Ukrainian or some combination thereof. And while the author is certainly capable of academic writing the reader is not overburdened unnecessarily so this book is perfect for most anyone wanting to know more about this time period, what occurred historically and what choices and hardships those that lived through it faced. Much credit and thanks to the author for realizing what was about to be lost and documenting first hand accounts before they were gone forever.
