Blood Fallen - Chapter One, Part Two Recommencing walking, the man's hand on my shoulder leading the way, I start to drift once more after finally getting a glimpse at my captor. He was taller than me, as I had suspected. Stormy gray eyes, ones that seem to bore into my body when he had looked at me. His brunet hair reached his eyes. In fact, if the straight hair had not been brushed to the side, it would be in his eyes. To think my dad had long hair. I knew I would not argue over something so trivial anymore, not after all this was over. My own hair was pretty long, way down my back. It was amazing that no one had ever suggested getting it cut more than an inch or so.
Stiffling a yawn, I wondered how late it was. I was majorly tired and, as the frore winds from the North picked up, I was starting to feel a bit icy. Autumn, this year, seemed short as the days got colder a month earlier than normal. By coincidence or by luck, we were slowing again. I was shivering pretty badly, concentrating on trying to stay warm in just a tank top and some sport shorts. 'Then again,' I taciturnly thought, 'he would have definitely felt me shaking, though it could be mistaken as purely fear instead of partially fear.' Biting my tongue, hoping it would help, which it did not, I waited, taking in the consistant silence in long strides.

"Step," the gray eyed man warned me. Heeding the warning and hesitating, slowly reaching out with my foot to secure it correctly on the step. "Another step," he repeated. I did the same thing once more, testing the step, hearing an untrustworthy creak. Not hearing anything more from the man, and the hand on my shoulder now gone, I assumed it was a clear shot from where I stood to the door, which I figured was just steps away. I assumed wrong. Sadly for me, there was one more step leading up to the house and my foot caught the edge of it, sending me tumbling to the floor of the wooden patio, my right foot twisting toward my left foot and twisting my ankle out of place. I felt my nose hit the wood and then I was immediately unconscious, the pain overwhelming and the exhaustion taking over my body and claiming it for awhile.

This just happens to be the end of the chapter, for everything cannot happen in one chapter. Don't always expect a note at the end of each part either. This part is dedicated to Swift and Ferns. Stay strong girls. And Ferns, you're a great author too. Don't let anyone say otherwise. (Erotic story of her's at "funi" all results and a teen story at "just once" all results. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

~L

I'm not going to re-state the area of perplexity, but I swear to Brahma, this is definitely one of the best NOOK fics I've ever read.

You. Are. Amazing. I wish I could write like that. You have a style of your own. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm only twelve, but I don't think I'll ever have the talent to write in a way that is as detailed, that you can /feel/ as much as you do. The way you write is powerful. Every word seems to be alive. And you can totally pull it off.

Thank you, Ab:) l'm trying to stay strong. I was doing so well for a month. My mom just told me yesterday that she got rid of my baby. My cat, Caesar. The old, grumpy one. I was crying and howling for almost an hour straight. She confirmed today that he will not be coming back. Ever. She also threatened to get rid of my last cat, our kitten, Trouble, if l didn't clean out the fireplace. "Okay, Caesar is gone. Clean the fireplace or else Trouble will be, to." That's what it felt like. I was eating supper when she tole me. I only ate three spoonfuls of soup, and then nothing else. I promised her, barely thirty minutes ago, that l would go back to sui<_>cidal if she got rid of Trouble. "You get rid of her, you get rid of me," l had said.
Part two was exhilirating. I got a teensy bit confuzzled, though. At the beginning the captive could see the man's face and grey yes, but then she couldn't see going up the steps. Hrmm?

(Ferns, the captive got blindfolded.) Wow! Okay, so l totally agree with MagiKK. You have a writing style all your own. You pack so much emotion, so much meaning into each word. You gave me a great idea of what was going on, but at a good pace. I've read [NOOK] stories that jump right fom one thing to the next, with no pause. The kinds that move at the speed of light, that l can't keep up with. But yours- yours has such impecable pace, plot, grammar, spelling, puncuation, detail... l could go on forever. It has action, but just enough to keep the story going. Not so much packed at once. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Dragon Slayers Academy, Book # 20 Schools Out.... Forever ! This is one of my favorite books! In it Mordred is going turn DSA into a casino, but instead turns it into Marryin Mordies. Wiglaf has lots of criss-cross lines on his hand and a minstrel tells him that “People with lots of criss-cross lines are not always who they seem be!” And at the end there is a big surprise . I recommend this book and I give it 99 stars.
