What you'll find in this final story is a cast of amazing impressive and engaging characters, spectacular story-line and powerful scene descriptions. This exhilarating and well written story held my attention from start to finish. Although I tried to pace myself only reading a few chapters at a time I found the story so captivating I couldn’t put it down. The ending had me in tears for what felt like forever. I wanted to take a day before writing my review so I could reflect on the emotional roller coaster ride I just stepped off of. I ended up taking the next few days to revisit some of the past books and rereading Scrape. How did Erin think this story up? It truly is a spectacular story one I could very well see on the big screen. The characters were so believable and real, the banter superb, camaraderie, heart throbbing romance it was all so extraordinary. This entire series is a story unto itself. Read all of the books in this series ~ you will not be sorry.

Well, the last book in the Reveler was one big epic battle. The Sandman is free, the Oneiros has helped bring about the collapse of the EU Complex and the Agora, thousands of Revelers cannot wake from their shared dreaming and are dying at the hands of nightmares, and our heroes are determined to save the day. The obstacles they face are bigger than them and it does feel like it is a hopeless battle they will lose. Around every corner something is going on, some roadblock is placed in their way, and at times it really did feel hopeless. Without giving away spoilers, the happy endings aren't all I wanted them to be (one in particular for sure!), but everything does go well and they do save the day. The plot elements were complex and multifaceted. The conflicts were believable. The series as a whole was good, though some of the books I think could have been combined into one. The writing style in this installment made the reader feel what the characters felt; anxiety and fear of failure, yet determined, which made it easy to get into and took the reader on a ride. This book was provided by the publisher for honest review. This whole series was interesting and a thrill to read. Start at the beginning and read them all. You will not be disappointed.

Copy received in exchange for honest review. I love it when a series has a world built that is vastly different from anything else I've come across. The entire Reveler series was a joy to read and Scrape is climactic novella ending well with wrapping up loose threads, solidifying characters, and showing that change on many levels is inevitable but not necessarily the end of all things. A touch of horror and a lot of action, this is a great conclusion to the series.

We finally get to know what the Sandman is and where he comes from. All the questions about what the nightmares are and where they come from are answered as well and we even get to find out what happens if all the walls of our guarded dreams came down. Erin Kellison is an amazing storyteller. I knew that once I started reading the final installment of her Reveler series I wouldn’t be able to put it down and I wasn’t wrong. Last time the story left me a bit bewildered because one of the main characters was lost Darkside and another possibly dead so I didn’t know where the arc was going to go from there. Scrape ties all the knots carefully and leaves nothing unsettled. I didn’t think I had a favorite couple but here I was able to recognize I do and was oh, so very happy everything was going to work out for them – or sort of. The whole series from beginning to end transported me the Reveler world and made me envision a place as if I was watching a movie right there on my e-device. If I have any cavils is that I feel the climax and the resolutions to all their conundrums were solved too swift too fast. In a way I feel I shouldn’t have any but I suppose I’m too greedy and I wanted more out of it. Also, not much of a HEA but a HFN, which in a way gives me hope that Kellison will surprise us with more of these characters in the future (wishful thinking). So, the “preciousness” (that’s because it’s become my precious) of this story is that even though it’s the final installment it leaves the door open for more. And I DO WANT MORE! I sure hope that we get to see more of this world and all it entails. 4 stars. ** I received a copy of this story from the author in exchange for an honest review ** DARKNESS FALLS, the first book in the series is still FREE.

Do you ever try to escape into your dreams just to have your dreams turn on you ? Well you are going to have to read the whole series to get to know where I am coming from but hey dream a little dream with me and get the Reveler books. I love this series enough that I have gifted it to a friend of mine and she cant get enough of Malcom and Jordan so she has asked me to keep the books coming to her and I have .The Scrape is book 8 and the last one in the series and can I just say OMG I did not want this series to end I am so going to miss my dream friends. I but at least they will be there for me when I close my eyes lol.. It was a great end to a great story Thank You Erin for not killing them off. The last battle will be a nightmare... The Sandman has broken through to the waking world, bringing with Him a monster of a storm. Mirren Lambert and Vince Blackman set out to force him back into his own realm, while Malcolm Rook and Jordan Lane are cornered by an old enemy intent on revenge. They learn that there are no rules when fighting for the ones you love. In the midst of the chaos, Harlen Fawkes is charged with finding a way to make dreaming safe again. As nightmares lurk in the fringes, waiting to attack, he is driven to a bold decision that will change the world Darkside forever. All the while, his heart is with Sera--will the love of his life ever wake again? Steve Coll must come to grips with his altered nature. His passion for Maisie Lane transcends the darkness, and he becomes both a fearsome nightmare and the hero humanity so desperately needs. Armed with hope and love, he strikes out to defeat a powerful god. But will it be enough? Or has dreaming just become too dangerous? Scrape is the eighth and final installment in the Reveler serial, a hot paranormal romance set in a world where shared dreaming is a new pop culture phenomenon that allows people to indulge their wildest fantasies. But there are also unknown dangers Darkside; nightmares are slowly infiltrating not only dreams, but the waking world as well. And behind them all is a shadowy entity called the Sandman. Revel with me.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This book is what all the books in the series led up to. Some of it I figured on but others were a suprise. All of our friends get involved in this book and it's fast paced excitement from beginning to end.The Dreamscapes are all falling to the Nightmares and the Sandman is in the real world. They have to get him back into the Scrape so they all have to find their courage and do what needs to be done. Some go back to the waking world to find him and others to protect the loved ones. Koll goes to the Dreamscapes to see his love and await the Sandman. I am sorry to see this series end but who knows maybe will go on in a different direction. I loved this series and look forward to reading more of her books.

An epic conclusion to this apocalyptic story that has spanned eight novellas... His dad's eyes were getting darker. "How bad is it really?" Very bad. Too many fronts to fight. Bur for starters... "That big storm out east?" Jordan and Rook had gone to investigate... "That's the Sandman in the waking world." His dad frowned deeply. He shook his head and shrugged. "I don't know what that means." Yeah, well... "Neither do we." SCRAPE by Erin Kellison is the bittersweet finale of her Reveler series. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed each installment and am happy, but saddened, that the series has now concluded. What a wild ride this series has treated readers to! Everything wraps up in SCRAPE, though the bow is not as pretty for some favorite characters as it is for others. This is the eighth installment in Erin's Reveler series. In my opinion, there is no way you can plunge into this book without having read the previous seven books. You would be hopelessly lost. This is not a big deal. Just grab all the books, be grateful that they're all now available, and delve in. You won't be sorry. There's nothing like some serious binge reading and this is a series that is meant to be devoured. SCRAPE picks up right where THE SANDMAN ended with multiple devastating cliffhangers. At the end of THE SANDMAN, utter chaos ruled. The situation was beyond dire. The Sandman had arrived dayside. Nightmares were everywhere. Oneiros had infiltrated and trusting anyone was impossible. Coll had died. David was AWOL. Sera was in a coma after having been shot. Maisie's city was under attack. AND it's going to get worse. All our favorite characters - including Jordan, Rook, Coll, Maisie, Harlen, Sera, Vince, Mirren, and David- make an appearance as their services are all needed to fight the Sandman and his followers, save innocent Revelers and provide closure. Don't worry that you will be able to guess what will happen beforehand, as Erin still has a multitude of surprising twists and turns up her sleeve that will turn her readers' worlds upside-down and inside-out. Finally! The long awaited conclusion to this rather riveting serial. I was beginning to despair that it would ever arrive. When last I was “Darkside” there didn’t seem to be much hope that things would ever be able to work out at all for any of the intrepid characters of this harrowing story. Things were looking very dire in deed. But, as with most stories that come under the “romance” genre in general, and “fantasy” in particular, things miraculously work out somehow. After all the twists and turns that happened throughout this serial, it was amazing how everything worked out. Some were nowhere near what one would expect, but were actually rather interesting and satisfying resolutions. In spite of the fact that this was most definitely a serial, and I have a distinct distaste for serials, Reveler kept me interested and coming back with each new installment. I am glad I stayed with it until the mostly satisfying ending. I say “mostly” because I had the feeling of things being too pat. Almost abrupt in the resolutions. Although each of the couples reached relatively satisfying resolutions, I was still left with the feeling of things being unfinished. Maybe it is the nature of the serial. Or maybe I just had greater expectations. *shrugs* Or, is the author planning a spin off or two? Who knows? I enjoyed “Reveling” and am almost sad to see it end. I think it will stay with me a while. It has left me with things to think about. I received an ARC copy of this title for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated in any way for this review. All conclusions are my own opinions and responsibility.

Sadly this is the final book in what has been a great series. With lots of action and twists and turns, it provides a fitting ending. Although you know it's the end, the conclusion isn't predictable, and you also get a sense of the characters' stories continuing on. Perhaps there is hope for a spin-off? Either way, this is a great series for fans of paranormal adventures, and worth reading to the end. Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review.

I can't believe this is the end. I loved the characters, especially Coll. He was so unselfish when trying to end the Sandman, not that the others didn't put their lives on the line as well. But I fell in love with him when his story came out and it just followed through the whole series. The author did a great job describing the dream world that you felt it could be real. I will miss this series, but you just never know...

In this series finale, we join Harlen, the new Chimera leader, Malcolm and Jordan, Steve and Maise, Mirren and Vince and little David, in the ultimate adventure; getting rid of the Sandman. Where is Sera, you ask? Still in the hospital after being shot in the previous story, unconscious, as her dream self is lost in the Scrape. With the Onerios kidnapping Harlen's mother and the Sandman appearing in the real world in the body of Mirren's father, Harlen has no time to sit at Sera's bedside, so his father gets that task. When Harlen goes back Darkside and joins up with some of his marshals, he realizes the Agora is going to fall to the nightmares, who will feast on all the revelers, and there's nothing he can do about it: or is there? With Maze City in ruins, and a half-breed nightmare with mind control wanting to control it, and with Steve Coll seemingly dead, our courageous group are fighting on several fronts again; both in the real world and Darkside. Is there anyone who can defeat the Sandman? The Scrape was the perfect ending to this series. As well-written and easy-to-read as the previous stories, The Scrape fulfilled all my expectations in wrapping up this series that I enjoyed immensely and eagerly awaited the next installment. It is bittersweet to bid it adieu. (Gifted a copy for independent review)

"Gifted for an honest review" Erin Kellison is a great storyteller with talent for making her characters come to life. Even if they are in a dream world. This series has been great!. Twists and turns, anguish and joy await in Dreamscape. Maise is my favorite hero. Read the series to find your favorite hero and see if you dare close your eyes.

If you have read the other books in this series, this book picks right up where it left off. Erin does not disappoint in this final suspenseful chapter. There are plenty of twists and turns you are not expecting and is a must read and a satisfying conclusion. I can only hope there are additional spin-offs to this series as I don’t think we’ve yet explored all there is Darkside. As with all series, my only complaint is that the story has come to an end. If you haven’t read all the books in this series, I highly recommend you start from the beginning. You’ll be hooked from the 1st chapter. The premise behind the books is one of the most unique I’ve read in many years and has just the right balance of love interest/mystery to keep you turning the pages and losing sleep.

This is the last book in the Reveler series and it is a fast-paced and intense story. There are all the loose threads of the overall story arc, as well as the individual threads of the characters, that all need to be tied up for a satisfying conclusion. There is enough action to keep any wannabe hero intrigued, whilst the romance part shifts to a deeper level. There are no new insta-lust attractions in this book, just the continuation of previous ones that benefit all the more from them having time together. Scrape packs in so many emotions, I think I went through all of them whilst reading this story. The one that comes across loudest for me though, was family. All of the characters now think of themselves as one family, and that only makes them stronger when adversity is facing them. I am going to miss this series and the world of darksight, reves and Chimera. I think Erin Kellison has done an amazing job and now I will have the pleasure of reading them all again. If you like a paranormal world that is a little bit different from vampires and shifters, then I can highly recommend the Reveler Series. Start at book one and lose yourself in the dream. * I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

This is the eighth and final instalment in an epic story, that has been fascinating to read from beginning to end and in no way did it disappoint. The author has taken us into an adventure encompassing both the waking world and Darkside and portrayed the events with a particular clarity that you almost felt you were part of the journey. Nightmares were killing the revellers, so Harlen has no alternative but to bring the Agora walls down, thereby emptying the Reves into the Scrape. From there revellers are able to escape to safety using the columns. Meanwhile, Mirren and Vince are in the waking world, tracking down Mirren’s father; he needs to be killed. Jordan and Rook both have various adversities to overcome before realising their ideal dreamscape. Maze City is under siege, with Noah using mind control; Coll comes to the rescue, but by letting Noah live puts the others in danger. Coll loses his humanity, but his altered state does not deter Maisie’s feelings for him. Meanwhile, the Sandman has been defeated in the waking world and is back Darkside – an alien in his own land – the Scrape and Agora were now one. When Coll and the Sandman finally face each other, Coll finally understands the true horror of the Sandman. Along the way we have a few twists and turns to keep the story interesting and beguiling, and the end has a good finishing touch. As I said above, each story has totally enthralled me and I would have no hesitation in recommending all books, which really need to be read in sequence to appreciate the story. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
