Ive been screwed.
It started the day I was conceived.
When I was eleven, life crushed me into grotesque, mangled fragments. I glued the shards of myself into a mosaic fitting of a child. I learned one important thing from that experience.
Controlling your destiny keeps the vultures at bay. Control keeps my life from disintegrating. It keeps my life on the path to the woman I want to be.
Not who they say I am.
As time goes on, life hits and smashes and I take it. Every snide word, every crack in my heart, every self-righteous glance again and again.
Its my turn to screw.

You know you have a good book when you have tears in your eyes within a few pages of the book. This is one heart touching book. I truly enjoyed that this book could pull that much emotion from me in such a short time. I haven't quite finished this book but I already know it one of my favorites. Very well written and the story keeps you wanting more. Breca has a lot of demons from her pass that she is fighting and over coming. Refusing to be the same as her mom she is pushing her self to find a better life that she know is out there. Zach is tired of playing the playboy role and is looking to find the girl his dreams. Will Becca and Zach find that special some one that makes their life complete? Heart touching story that is going to keep you wanting more!
