The Sea Runners is an outstanding book. It is about four men who have been employed by the Russians to work in Russian America. They decide to escape in a Kolosh canoe and to paddle their way to Astoria. They run into many hardships on their way. This book is written with very elegent wording. Sometimes you have to read over a paragraph to fully understand it. It is a thin book but you are in for a long read.
