SEAL for Her Protection (SEALs of Coronado, #1) by Paige Tyler

An assignment turned deadly…

Journalist Hayley Garner thought this was the chance of a lifetime. Instead, she’s facing certain death. Taken hostage by terrorists, she knows she won’t live to see the sun rise. That is until a Navy SEAL charges in to save her. Tall, dark, and handsome, he disappears before she can even thank him. But when her new story lands her at the Navy Training Facility, Hayley finds her sexy-as-sin SEAL. Even better, he asks her out. But not everything is going her way. Someone is after Hayley again. And the danger is as real as her feelings for Chasen.

A rescue turned romance…

The attack of 9/11 changed Chasen Ward. He switched career paths to become a SEAL and devote his life to fighting terrorism and protecting civilians. While that fulfils his work life, the hazards of his job are more than most women can take. The last thing he expected was to meet a woman whose job was as risky as his. He’s falling fast for Hayley, but now she’s in jeopardy.

When Hayley is kidnapped, Chasen will turn San Diego inside out to find her. But will it be too late?

Loved the book Can't wait for book two

Good romance but didn't like the story. Like a fast law and order. About 120 pages, not a book just a novella.

I loved it!

Nice story and sweet ending but I would have enjoyed a longer story. This was about 135 pages. If you're looking for something to pass an afternoon with...here you are! J

While in Africa reporting on a terrorist group, Hayley was kidnapped by the terrorists. This would make a terrific article - if she lived. Lucky for her as well as the other women who were kidnapped, they were rescued by a SEAL team. She could not get her sexy rescuer out of her mind. Hayley wanted to see him again but couldn't find him. That is until she runs into him when she was researching a story at the new Navy Training Facility. Chasen had been hoping to see her again, too. So now that he found her he didn't want her to get away again. Asking her out for dinner was a good start to make sure that didn't happen. I liked their intense chemistry and that they were willing to give a relationship a try. They both found relationships almost impossible because their jobs could have them leaving at a moment's notice. Chasen's was especially hard for women to handle but Hayley understood his job and accepted how unpredictable it was. Life was good. If only Hayley didn't feel like she was being watched all the time. This book is a real page-turner. It's suspenseful, sexy and unpredictable. It gives us a look at what really goes on in a SEAL mission and what a SEAL's life is like when there isn't an actual mission. Then they have lots of training missions. Boring but necessary. The Hacktivists made a big impact in this story. It made me think that sometimes people do bad things for good reasons. They sure did. Chasen and Hayley's romance was fast but when you know, you know. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it. Especially if you like romantic suspense with hot military heroes.

SEAL for Her Protection (SEALs of Coronado, #1) by Paige Tyler ... this is the first full book of the series..it was fun to touch base with Kurt and Melissa and hear about their kids... this is Chasen and Haley's story...he saved her from terrorists as a seal...there are laughs, mystery, danger, PTSD, some tears but as always a HEA.. can't wait to read more in this series.

I liked it that way instead of droning on and on about the characters inner emotions. Really good. Would haved loved it to be detailed but it was still good. I cannot wait to read the others. I actually like to read romance stories.

This novella is both very hokey and, at times, cloyingly sweet. All the good guys and gals, apparently, look like supermodels, and they all have hearts of gold, too. After skim-reading this story, I consider my credulity stretched to the point of snapping and my brain completely untaxed.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audio version. A nice change where the female, Hayley, also travels to dangerous locations, gets called at a moment's notice and never knows how long she'll be gone. She meets her SEAL when he rescues the reporter from terrorists. They are separated while he goes back into danger for more captives. Back at home, a chance meeting gives them the opportunity to get to know each other. Both are professionals and have been in their jobs for a time. The attraction is immediate and it doesn't take long for Chasen to make his move which she readily moves right into. Their first date is a girl's fantasy come true. The second is a BBQ with the team and their ladies and family. Will she fit in with his team that has become his family? Hayley refuses to admit she is having symptoms of PTSD. She feels like someone is watching her, but knows it isn't true. She's restricted stateside by her boss after her close call. Hayley is not one to sit back and watch. She gets involved in a dangerous investigation. Will Chasen be called to rescue her again? If so, can he do it twice? The characters are ones you want to succeed professionally and personally. There is plenty of steam. The teammates are introduced. I for one am glad this is just book one of the series. Those guys are hot. Ms. Tyler gives us action, emotion, steam, and a couple worthy of the great story lin

If sexy men saving a damsel in distress isn’t your thing then skip this book. But if you love hot, hunky heroes then this is for you. Navy SEAL Chasen Ward is hot, hard and honorable. He is also the one who hauls investigative journalist Hayley Garner out of a Boko Haram hell hole then disappears into the night. It was a life altering moment for both of them so when chance finds them in the same place at the same time in San Diego they have to give it a try. Watching this hard SEAL and tough journalist get together is a lot of fun. SEAL for Her Protection is the first in a series and I look forward to the next installment.

This is a great book; this is the first book in the Seals of Coronado series by Paige Tyler. Hayley Garner is an investigative journalist. When she is kidnapped by terrorists and rescued by the sexy Navy Seal Chasen Ward, she doesn’t have time to even thank him. A few weeks after her kidnapping she is covering a story on the local Navy base, she runs into Chasen again. Neither one can fight the immediate attraction. When she feels like she is in danger, there is only one person she wants protecting her. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Seal for Her Protection by Paige Tyler....Oh my goodness...what a way to start a new series. This book is worth way more than 5 stars. The story is so good I could not put it down. I loved watching Hayley and Chasen's story unfold. Chasen is a new book boyfriend, you will fall in love with him. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.
