Wow ! Ok, First off I'm a guy and I thought this book would be mainly focused on females but shockingly it fit me perfectly. Recently I was having some problems with my girlfriend and told her about the book. She agreed to do the "work" that is required in the book and I can honestly say we are doing much better. Things just seem to click now. Me and my Girlfriend are both passionate about what people think so the chapter who moved it helped identify us. I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommended it to anyone looking to find out more about what a relationship takes. It is a good short read for both men and women.

Reviewed by Karen Pirnot for Readers' Favorite In Seal The Deal: A Resource Book for Those Looking to Improve and Retain Healthy Loving Relationships with Others, author Nadi Williams has written hints for a positive and loving relationship with significant others. She urges readers to first search within themselves in order to delineate what is really wanted and treasured in a relationship. Anyone contemplating marriage needs to figure out what they might be willing to sacrifice in order to make a marriage workable. There are also practical issues to consider such as financial resources, desired style of living and whether or not each partner wants to have children. As many people in love do not think clearly before entering into deep relationships, Williams contends that failure to prepare may become the seedbed for problems which escalate through the years. I liked and appreciated the practical and yet positive approach assumed by the author. She asks important questions such as what your partner will think of you when you fail and what he or she may fear when you succeed. Answering these questions requires a lot of relationship work. Will we keep the promises we made to a would-be partner, and whether or not children will be allowed to influence the marital relationship are other critical questions which enter into staying the course. And then, never taking for granted the qualities of our loved ones is a critical key to trust, ongoing love and the respect essential to the continuance of any good relationship. Seal The Deal is a no-nonsense book for those contemplating a permanent relationship and Williams has given a lovely, respectful quality to her suggestions.

When I purchased the book, I was optimistically thinking that it would be a great read.   Wow, is it ever as well as it being a dynamic workbook.  I have only read three chapters, which by the way, I continue to review, move forward, go back again to the thought evoking questions  because it is apparent that I still have some work to do with my relationship with myself. The book invites me to take a long look at myself to establish if I have a solid sense of self and what does it equate to.  And if "I can afford this or used or new"  as the chapter titles  take me on the life changing journey of self discovery, I am able to get a greater grasp on who I am as well as what I am looking for in a  mate.   The book is taking me on a journey of introspection and really solidifying my Faith in God, in relationships and with myself.  All these are critical components as Mrs. Williams references to obtain the loving, nurturing and sustainable relationships in today's time.  The real life situations of the persons in the book are uplifting and provides me reassurance that we are not in this alone; but, we will be or in a non- productive relationship if we do not stop, reflect, re-evaluate, and down right, get our stuff together such as Mrs.Williams way of putting in in a manner that is straight and to the point and has a wealth of truth.  I strongly recommend the book to anyone and everyone who is looking to put some time in building meaningful and rewarding relationships with themselves and with others.  Once again, I am only on the third chapter and I can't wait til I get further in the book.  Working the questions is the key to getting everything Mrs. Williams have intended us to take away with.   Buy it, explore what knowledge the author shares about relationships, and pass it on to a friend or family member. Here's to the adventure the author has in store for me and for you in the chapters to come.

Tremedeously refreshing insight into a Womens thoughts! The author (with obvious unconditional love and support from her husband) put it all out there with amazing courage. For the sole purpose of helping us!  This extremely selfless act of kindness, I for one is trying to pay it forward. The breaking up senario (you have to read the book), I thought my wife (then girlfriend) of 27 years was the only female that pulled that.

...speak your truth...As a 47 year old man I thought I had it all together. I picked up this book and read these three powerful words " Speak your truth..." (page 1). It was like a hammer hit me in my chest. I believed that my truth is my truth and it shall remain only my truth until I share it or die. Not! So, I presumed that this book was just a quick, simple and easy read self help book. I misunderstood the title. I was caught of guard and not prepared for those three little words. I was captivated by the author's personal experiences and the love she has for her husband. I was and am impressed with the self evaluation questions she asked (I was not ready to answer them because they touch the core of who you are in your "inner-man" as well as shed light on the life decisions and choices you may have or have not made that has set patterns and course of your present life). I am impressed that there is no lines for me to write on or scribble because as simple as the questions are they all are thought provoking which will need to be answered from the heart and communicated within the relationship. I would recommend this book to Men, Women and young adults. This book is a must read for everyone. Great work! JAV68

There should be more books like this! The book is easy to follow and offers such insightful advice on the important relationships in our lives. She has inspired me to reassess my current relationships to actively seek out the areas in which I can improve on. It is truly an eye-opening work!

I recently graduated from college and was given this book as a gift. The last thing I wanted to do was read another book. I tried to get around reading it but read the back and then the table of contents and was interested in what the author had to say to me about my relationships. I thought it was for couples but saw some things that I dealt with with roommates and other people in my circle of friends. I am not finished reading the book but i'm curious to see where the author takes me.So far, I give the book  5 stars for interrupting my summer vacation to read.
