I think this book is meant for kids ages 10 and over. Kidnapped is the best book I have read in a very long time. Meg Falconer has a 13 opinionated and self sufficient character. On the other hand her brother Aiden has a determined and strong willed character. When Meg gets kidnapped Aiden goes to many lengths to find his sister he runs away and many other things.

Meg is trapped in a basement and a car that the kidnappers stole. She sets traps and hints so that Aiden and her family can find her but the only person that realizes is Aiden and no one will believe him. Aiden finds the town she is in but before he can do anymore investigating the cop that is on Megs case comes and finds him.

In the sequel to THE ABDUCTION, the Falconers and the FBI are still frantically searching for Meg. It has been a little over a week since she was kidnapped and Aiden is getting restless. He hasn't slept, he's barely eaten, and a new agent has just been assigned to the case.

After the FBI got very close to getting Meg back, the kidnappers decide to move her to a new location. The new location is nearly impossible to find. But Meg doesn't give up hope. She is still planning to escape.

When a mysterious incident happens, Aiden is sure that it's a sign that Meg was sending him. But Agent Sorenson thinks otherwise. So Aiden decides to take matters into his own hands and go search for Meg on his own. This results in many run-ins with the law. Find out exactly what kind by reading this excellent book.

THE SEARCH, like the first book in the KIDNAPPED series, was an incredible thriller! Gordon Korman really knows how to write a story that will keep you guessing every time. I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventures. I think this book deserves five stars because it is action-packed and full of realistic details. It's almost like you are there!
