Overview

This original story is based on the adventures of two friends, Doug and Ace, as they travel across the southwestern United States in a raucous quest to continually inject instant gratification and adrenaline into the haunting voids of their morally bankrupt lives. The characters are involved in one unusual undertaking after another, some of them legal and some not. As they move along the fringes and underbelly of society, it becomes apparent that one of them has a need to look for meaning in life, while the other has developed no such need. In the end, they both find something, but in very different places.

My only wish is that this story was longer. The authors, possibly the characters in the book, weave a funny and touching tale that ends too soon. Oh well, maybe there is more coming from these guys. In a nutshell it is the story of two old friends on a long road trip that ends up with one of them in Mexico. I will let you read the book to see what he finds there.

This is a great story that is worth taking a chance on. The book is funny and you will want more of it when done reading it. These guys have a winner on their hands.

This story of two people traveling across the U.S. is not to be missed. It is funny and poignant at the same time. You will not be disappointed. What one of them finds is what we are all looking for in some ways.
