She hires a contractor to fix up her house, then realizes it’s her life that needs a renovation …
Breanna Delaney is a devoted mother, a loyal sister, and a grieving widow who always thinks of others before herself. But lately, she’s been wanting more. If she can just restore her ramshackle beach house to its former glory, it will be a big step toward taking care of her own needs for a change.
Jake Travis, battered by a recent divorce, goes into his job as Breanna’s contractor expecting nothing more than a paycheck. Sure, she’s attractive as hell, but she’s way out of his league. But the more closely he works with her, the more he thinks maybe he has the tools to repair both of their lives.
Searching for Sunshine is the fourth book in Linda Seed’s Delaneys of Cambria series.
About the Author
Linda Seed, a former journalist, lives in Cambria, California, with her husband, art writer John Seed, and their children. Linda’s romances, including the Main Street Merchants series and the Delaneys of Cambria series, are set on California’s Central Coast. Linda began writing novels early in life, authoring her first—a Breakfast Club–style saga of teenage angst—when she was seventeen. She came to the romance genre considerably later, deciding well into her forties that the world probably already had enough angst and needed stories of love and hope. Her debut novel, Moonstone Beach, was selected as a Barnes & Noble top pick. Linda is a former journalist with more than fifteen years experience at newspapers including the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Ventura County Star, and other publications.
