I have to say, as a football fan, this book was AWESOME! And as Romeo and Juliet retelling? LOVE IT! Tyler and Sam are so wonderful together. But this isn't just simply a 'wrong side of the football field' romance. There were many other deeper problems that the authors dealt with both honestly and appropriately.
Tyler may be a big, bad football player, but he's also a total softy, and an amazing coach (even if he's acting like he's the one being coached). And Sam is one of the strongest heroines I've read in a while. I love that this story is told in dual POV, because it gives us an amazing opportunity to see what's going on in both of their lives.
I also LOVED many of the secondary characters (and was really angry with a couple of them too!). But hands down, Tyler's little sister, and Sam's little brother stole the show. They may be VERY young, but they are full of wisdom.

I can't tell you how many times I laughed out loud, and cried, while reading this story. It was just SO GOOD! I loved it! And you will too!
