Love this story. Engaged TK - 5th grade students at my two STEAM Academy Elementary schools. Gave them background on history, use of Atlas/maps, and origin of silk. Used maps for location of India, Persia/Iran, and the Silk Road. Showed pictures of the silkworm and silk product. Great teaching tool for history, geography, and science.
