"What gives you a thrill Kristen?"

I knew that giving in to Vincent Sorenson was a risk, but it was one I was willing to take. I had hidden my heart for so long and for the first time in a long time, Vincent was close to breaking down the walls.

When a trip to Vincent's exclusive private island revealed the real Vincent underneath the layers of suave nonchalance, I thought we were close to the start of something special.

Just when things were looking up for us, I would discover the one secret that Vincent never intended for me to find.

In Secret Surrender, the 2nd installment in the Surrender Series, we start out with Kristen and Vincent and their newly found relationship. While they don’t give each other labels, they are giving dating a try with their hectic lives in tow. Kristen is finally stepping outside of her comfort zone and learning more about herself and that not everyone is there to hurt her, like her ex Marty. I loved, loved, loved the creativity of the sex scenes in this book. Many of the romance novels have become redundant with the scenes so it was fun to have something new and creative. I enjoyed that Ms. West stepped out of that zone and took it to a new level. And of course Vincent is as sweet and romantic as ever in this book. I love his character and personality, he is just enough, a little protective and sweet and saucy! Secret Surrender ends with a cliffhanger, but it’s a good one that gets you reeling, luckily the third installment is out so the reader can jump right in!

I loved every second! How I missed this book coming out I will never know! I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley for my honest review; my honest review is that I was absolutely hooked from the first chapter. I have read books by Priscilla in the past so I am not surprised that this book was good. It had fiery passion, the intrigue of a forbidden romance, and the ups and downs of a real life relationship. This is a three part series. Book 2 is when things go from heating up to full blown flame. Vincent is a man ready to impress Kristen and show her that he means business. One downer for me is Kristen's attitude about certain things you would figure with all that she has been through she would be careful about jumping to conclusions before she gets all of the facts. But hey when there are so many clues right in your face I guess she could not help it. Also Vincent knows what he needs to do to make up with Kristen good thing for him he is a master in the bedroom! Vincent Sorenson is a bad boy with cash to spare. He is daring and not afraid to live his life to the fullest. Throw in a heart of gold, a macho man with jealous tendencies and his super-hot body that is ready to catch the waves or stand strong in a business meeting and you have every woman’s fantasy! Kristen is a woman trying to make it in a new job. She works hard and takes nothing for granted. When she trips and falls into instant attraction with Vincent she knows that every fantasy she has about him is forbidden. Fortunately for him she gives into temptation but the real question is can she make a bad boy settle down or will his heart stay guarded forever!

I loved all three books in this series!!! The books seemed to fly by, next thing I knew I was onto the next book. I was soaking up the words...I loved Kristen's spunky personality. While at times I was concerned with Vincent's commitment level, their new relationship was fun to go through with them. Great writing!

When Kristen Daley a financial analysis meets Vincent Sorensen a surfer who turned his passion into a billion dollar company sparks instantly fly. Kristen tries to keep their relationship on business but Vincent is so persistent and hot that Kristen has a very hard time. This book is sexy and hot. The story is well written and makes you feel engaged, enraged and enlightened. Kristen has her past to deal with and this leaves her a little unsure of Vincent and his motives. The characters show great depth, passion, strength and character. I really enjoyed this book. I do suggest that is you read this book to read book one first.

The plot of this book is very well written, fast paced and sexy to say the least. The characters in this book are very well written and I am still falling in love with Mr Vincent Sorensen, and he can wisk me away to a secluded island any time he wants to. The chemistry between Kristen and Vincent is still off the charts and you can feel the sparks between them popping off the pages. In this book you will someone get a promotion and then treated like crap by one of the businesses partners for no apparent reason, I think he will play a bigger part in the final book as he starting to rub me the wrong way. In this book you will also see a relationship start to grow but kept a secret from the world as one of the parties thinks its an inappropriate relationship. In this book you will also see a women read a text that was meant for her man while they are on a date after he's been gone on a business trip for weeks, even before the text the women had been having issues with the length of the trip and how to have a relationship when the man is gone so often, and then text leaves her heartbroken. At the end of the book someone from the women's past will show is face again, this cannot be good. I loved SECRET SURRENDER and cannot wait to read book three, the final book in the series, it is patiently waiting for me on my kindle

I thought the book was good but i hate when you pay $2.99 for a 90 pages. That is so disappointing the author could of made this 1 book. That would of been better.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** This is the second book in the story about Kristen and Vincent. In this one, Kristen and Vincent start pursuing a real relationship regardless of him constantly being out of the country on business a lot. There some inconsistencies in the story that I found really irritating in this one. One thing I found particularly irritating is how much Kristen knew of Vincent's character after really only meeting with him once or twice. Also, while an onslaught of feelings is typical in these types of books, Kristen's feel very rushed and refers to the relationship having been several weeks, when in fact, it had been barely a week according to the time line in the first book. After reading this one, the only reason I continued to the third book was out of curiosity of how the author ended it and because I already had a copy.

This was the best section of the book. Still only 4 stars because the character development is below standard. She is a harvard educated cfp and he is a self made ceo. I am nit seeibg the intelligene, strategy or people skills that either of those would require. See Lori Foster or Kristen Ashley for great character development.

“What gives you a thrill Kristen?”  When Kristen Daley meets Vincent Sorensen, she certainly gets more than what she bargained for. Kristen is a financial analyst trying to secure Vincent, a billionaire entrepreneur, as the newest client for the firm she works for. It will be a huge step for her career. She has researched everything she can about him and his company. He is a tattooed surfer who turned his love of extreme sports into a billion dollar company. She could never have predicted the physical effect he would have on her. She is immediately attracted to him and she can tell he feels the same way. She is reluctant to get involved with him for personal as well as professional reasons. However her resistance will only last for so long. She has been hurt in the past and does not want to jeopardize her career for some man. In a genre that certainly is being done more and more, Ms. West manages to keep things fresh, original and exciting. Yes, Vincent is wealthy and a bit of a bad boy, but his attitude is refreshing. He is not a complete dominant alpha male, nor does he feel the need to know Kristen’s every move. Yes he is protective and definitely pursues her hard but he is not overbearing or controlling. Kristen is also not our typical damsel in distress type either. Yes she does have a past that comes back to haunt her, but she is not helpless.  The chemistry between these two is hot hot hot! Kristen has an uncontrollable physical reaction to Vincent when he is around. He feels the same way about her. For a man who could clearly have any woman, this is absolutely about more than sex for him. The sex scenes are great and manage to not be repetitive. They spend a lot of time apart so when they are able to be together things get hot. Fast.  I read all three novellas as if they were one book. I cannot say that I liked a certain one better than the rest. There is also a great story line written in between all the smoking hot love scenes. (view spoiler) Kristen and Vincent do spend a lot of time apart so there are some misunderstandings but this really only fuel their desires for each other.  My only issue with the series was that the ending seemed a bit rushed. I felt that there could have been another book or at least a few more chapters added on.  4.5 stars for the series as a whole and I would highly recommend a nice Mojito or Pina Colada and beach day to read this steamy series! Enjoy!  Thank you to the publisher for generously offering this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I gave Secret Surrender 3.5 stars The second book in the Surrender Series picks up where the first book left off. This was a sweet, light and romantic read with Vincent and Kristen trying their hand at a relationship but keeping it a secret so that Kristen can keep her job. This second book was all about the relationship development between Vincent and Kristen. I liked this book, but just as the first one, I thought it was too short. This book was only eight chapters this time. The book ended way too soon for me. *I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*
