This book grabbed me in the first few pages and never let me go. A wonderfully written tale of the beauty and cruelty of the Tudor reign. It makes me thirst for more.

This book had my attention from the start and never disappointed. I read a lot of Henery VII type novels and this is one of the best with different view and emotionally charged heroine. 4-Stars!

I found this novel well written, historically accurate, a must for me to enjoy it, and sad because of how women are portrayed. Like a previous poster, I was taken aback by some of the words that I don't think belong in the period, but I still enjoyed it immensely. I will be looking for other titles by this author. This was a free Friday selection, but I think it's definitely worth the $7.99 now.

Great story, well done and historically honest, but so incredibly sad. I haven't cried over a book in 20 years -- literally -- but this one really got me.

I enjoyed this perspective of the dangerous Tudor court. The 1st person narrative took a bit of getting used to, but brought a vibrancy to the story. One thing that disappointed was the authors use of the word 'cute' towards the beginning of the book- im pretty sure the word was not in use then....

I love many different era's to read about but I have started to dive into the Tudor one of late. This book was a new Author with a bright new look into this time. I love how she was able to take a not so well known character and put a fun new twist on it. I will leave the rest up to you to enjoy it.

This is a very good book for anyone who enjoys the drama of the Tudor court. It starts out seeming a little more like a teen novel or a young adult book with the way it is written and then later seems more mature. This book is definately worth buying. I have read it twice now.

Im going to keep this short. I really like this book and how its writen. So if you like anything about the tudors and/or their time period then you will like this book very much. Im not going to say what the book is about but in the book there are many sudden events that keep you on your toes. You wont be able to stop reading well atleast i couldnt untill i got a headache from reading for so long. Well over all its a great book and u should give it a try and read it
