Smoking Hot! This is the fifth book in the Doms of Genesis Series. This is a great book because you start to see a little bit more of Trevor and Drake even though this story is about Liz, James, and Ian. This was a great story about finding yourself and moving on. Jenna Jacobs writes a great story and keeps you interested and wanting more. This was a wonderful read that I could not put down and wanted more.

I love this series, and this book was great. I love the characters in this series. The characters in this book were great. Liz finds herself drawn to James and then learns more about him and the people at Genesis. At first she curious about some of the things she reads about BDSM and how she reacts to them. When Ian tells her that he is mentoring James and that they want her to be her sub she is scared. She is new to all this and wants to learn more but she has doubts and fears. Her mother drilled lots of Good Girls… into her as a child. She stuck between fear of what she has been taught and what she wants. Will she be able to go for what she wants or will she let her fear win out? Ian and James find something in Liz they have never felt before. James was a switch before but is learning how to be a better Dom. James knows he wants Liz from the moment he saw her, he also knows a bit about her brother. He was one of the cops on scene. Ian is intrigued by Liz and the more he gets to know her the more he falls for her. Ian and James want to protect and nurture Liz. They want to help her be the best sub she can. Liz has been dating this guy Ryan on and off for the last couple years. He would need to get away for a couple days and then come back but this time has been gone for almost a year. She has tried to call him and wants closer cause honestly who leaves for that long and thinks that the other person will still be waiting around for them. Liz is shocked when he comes back. Now what will she do. She is in love with James and Ian but she owes Ryan an ending. Will Ryan accept what Liz tells him or will he have his own plan? I can’t say enough about this book or this series. Jenna is a fantastic author. The books are about more than just kinky sex. The couples are so in love and care about each other so much. Everyone is there to help each other out no matter what. I get so sucked in by the stories. I hope there will be another book in this series. The book was emotional at times and I felt so much for the characters and what they were going through. The ending is great and I can’t wait to read more about these characters hopefully.

I fall in love with this series more and more with each new story. In Seduced by My Doms, the author touches on some serious topics that worked amazingly well with the storyline. Tolerance of one's lifestyle; sexual or otherwise, is a topic that should be broached more and something we as human beings should learn. I got much more out of this story that just a panty wetting love story. Liz is a nurse that only lives for her job. She's a stubborn woman and a great nurse. When a special patience comes through her ER, she finds herself learning about a way of life she'd only fantasized about. Meeting James, the Genesis DM, throws her for a loop and brings naughty thoughts she doesn't know how to handle but would love the chance to try. His presence awakens something in her and she's willing to explore it with him and learn the lifestyle she's only read about in novels. With a mutual attraction between James and Liz, they find themselves having a hard time keeping their hands to themselves. Their first time together was intense, sensual and SUPER HOT. Then in walks Ian and it becomes too much. James' friend, boss and mentor in the ways of being a true Dominant. Though having them both would satisfy her deepest desire, it's overwhelming and has her running in the other direction. But Ian is smooth. A true and masterful Dom, he has a way of opening her eyes to the possibilities of what that exploration could really do for Liz as she learns what it is to be submissive and for James who's still learning to master his Dominant side. The three of them begin a journey that isn't just a start for Liz but ends up being something on a completely different level from what Ian and James have had in the past. Liz's submission goes way beyond what they could have hoped for. The idea of a trio love is intriguing to me and Jenna Jacobs has a real knack of trio storytelling. Not only do her stories tell of such amazing love, but she uses those stories to enhance a reader's knowledge of the BDSM lifestyle. When I read her stories, I'm not just reading about a couple tying each other up. I'm reading a story about how they bond and explore each other on not just a physical level but on a truly soulful level. The depth with which I "feel" while I read is so palpable it's difficult for me to describe.  Another outstanding novel in this series. *a copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not sure why I keep buying Jacobs' books. They just get worse. 300+ pages. I spent the first half of the book absolutely hating James. He was boorish, rude and an arrogant jerk. Then, Ian entered the book. He's boorish, rude and an arrogant jerk times ten. Then in a complete about face they become hot doms. Liz is half strong, fun, caring nurse. The other half is whiny, full of no self esteem. She bounces between they're leaving me, mommie dearest and body imperfections so many times and so quickly, I just wanted to throw my reader. The last half of the book was torture to read. Predictable drudgery. It was truly painful. I do have to give kudos to the retribution of the haters. Very well done. Until I got to the characters reaction to it. Time to fight the need to slap Liz, again. I want to like these books, I really, really do. But with nothing plausible, characters with no depth that only irritate, there's just nothing here. A frustrating and tortuous read.
