Seducing the Tycoon by M.K Meredith

International tycoon Drago De Luca has the world at his feet and he knows it. But back home in Italy, his beloved grandmother's family inn is on the verge of closing down for good, thanks to hotshot American heiress, Chase Huntington, and her new hotel. Drago has to protect Nonna's inn, even if it means getting close enough to Chase to convince her she needs to leave. But the more time he spends with Chase, the more he's drawn to her passion, her love of his culture, and the way she looks in those Louis Vuitton heels.

Chase Huntington would give anything to enjoy her time with charming, sexy-as-hell Drago in the style capital of the world, but she has to make sure the new Huntington hotel opens successfully. How else can she prove she's not just fashionista with a fortune—she’s an heiress savvy enough to take over the family’s biggest hotel back in California? But somewhere between boutiques and business plans, she falls head over Louboutins for Drago. But when Drago's true motive for spending so much time with her comes to light, it could destroy everything Chase built and everything she thought she found in Italy.

This was a entertaining read. The author takes a typical story and gives it a great twist that ends up biting our darling male hero right in the tail. Ahhh - the choices we make when we think we are doing a good thing can bring a tough outcome. With a delightful heroine and a wonderful offset hero to balance, we are taken on an adventure in lovely Italy. The author paints a lovely picture of this town and the people that live there. So much so that you feel you know them and want to go and visit. With plenty of anticipation and buildup, our two lovelies decide that they work better as a team. A delicate balance of trust is put to the test and as you can imagine, issues occur. With time and perseverance, we do get a lovely HEA that is a ssurprise. A delightful read that will entertain! *copy received for review purposes

Seduced and Loved by the Tycoon This was a quick and entertaining read which was what I was looking for. The characters were believable, the storyline had a good flow and I could sit and read it in one sitting instead of having to read it in several sittings. Drago and Chase had this instant zing, this immediate chemistry which I found great while reading. Chase thought she found her dream and her dream man in Drago but he is hiding a secret and an agenda. Will Drago realize the truth before its too late or will he lose Chase and her love or can he safe everything? I loved the ending of this lovely romance and cannot wait to read what this author has next. My rating: 4.0 stars **** **I was given an ARC by the publisher in exchange for an honest review***

Oh, the intentions of our hero to help his wonderful grandmother, certainly doesn't go as planned. Which is what makes this such an exciting story! Drago & Chase spark at first sight! Drago, with his nefarious plans, falls in deeper with Chase than he ever anticipated. Chase may appear to be only a hotel heiress, but she has to work for what she has, and for what she wants. As the city of Ferrara falls in love with Chase, so does Drago. But the likelihood of Chase accepting the things Drago has done, even though they were for the love of his grandmother, may be unforgivable! MK Meredith spins a fun and sexy story that has you pulling for a wonderful happy ending! Great story!

I loved everything about this story. It had such an old world feel, full of vibrant descriptions, beautiful scenery and a strong family element. Chase was a beautiful woman, not only on the outside but more so on the inside. She saw the beauty in all her surroundings and in the people. She strove to be the person she wanted to be. I loved all her interaction with the town citizens. Then there is Drago. So many mixed feelings towards his character. He was smooth, suave, total fantasy of an Italian lover. But his heart was troubled and it messed up his thinking. But as much as he messed up, his reparations were so meaningful and heart touching. This strong family element in this book touched my heart as it resembles my want for my family. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Seducing the Tycoon by MK Meredith is a wonderful escape to Italy. The hero is a sexy Italian with the nickname the Dragon. Meredith makes the lovely town of Ferrara an integral part of the story. I was almost more intrigued by the city than the Dragon – pretty amazing. Meredith has a light, playful writing style with well-developed characters. Drago and Chase draw you in from the first page. The conflict is somewhat predictable – her hotel versus his grandmother’s inn – but it is written with a fresh and engaging eye. If you are looking for a fun, quick read, this is a great candidate. 3.5 stars Seducing the Tycoon was a quick and entertaining read. I enjoyed the storyline, it held my interest throughout the book and I read it in one sitting. The characters Drago and Chase had a strong attraction and their chemistry was off the charts. I enjoyed watching them connect, fall in love and finding their happily ever after. Overall Seducing the Tycoon is a well written romance that will entertain you and leave you with a smile on your face. A perfect Sunday afternoon's read.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Drago comes "home" to Italy to find his Nonna's Inn in crisis. Diego, a family friend who's been running the Inn, stole from the Inn and left the country. Since Nonna won't accept his money to get the Inn in repair, Drago approaches his grandma's Inn as he would one of his businesses. He's ruthless and will stop at nothing to help Nonna. His guilt at not coming home sooner and finding out about the Inn, sways his decisions and not necessarily in a good way. Chase comes into town to prove to her family that she can run a "posh" hotel. If the Grand Opening is a success, she's assured her "dream" job back in Malibu. Chase finds herself the object of Drago's desires, but also his schemes to delay her Grand Opening so Nonna's opening will be a success. While translating for Chase and spending time getting to know her, he realizes he can't go through with his plan to sabotage her Grand Opening. When Chase finds out about his scheming and lies, she flees Ferrara broken hearted.... This was actually the first MK Meredith novel I've ever read. I really enjoyed it! I felt as though I was experiencing Ferrara along with Chase, seeing it through her eyes. I loved that she was such a history buff. I did think the middle of the novel was a little slow, but overall it was a really good novel. Kuddos to MK Meredith on her sexy, Italian stud and sassy, nerdy businesswoman.

I was hoping that Chase would get her own story after reading Malibu Betrayals! You do not have to read that book first! I was hooked on the book from the first page. I couldn't read fast enough to see when Drago was going to get caught! I loved Chase's feisty spirit! It took me awhile longer to like Drago but he won me over! Together they had amazing chemistry and find what they need with each other. The imagery that MK Meredith paints of Ferrara has me wanting to visit Italy. This book was fun, sexy, and well written. I would definitely recommend it!

Seducing the Tycoon by MK Meredith....Amazing book, I loved everything about this well written story, bravo MK Meredith. You get so engrossed in the storytelling, you can't put the book down. Chase and Drago have so much chemistry, but with family, love and deceiving going on, can they make it work? This is a must read by MK Meredith. I was given a complimentary book by publisher via NetGalley for an honest review.

On completing reading an ARC of this brilliant novel I couldn't resist tweeting to the author: @MKMKMeredith Personally, highly recommend it - just got to love an Italian Dragon being tamed by love - and his Nonna! Need I write more? OK, this book definitely deserves more of a review than that but you should definitely know it is one that I thoroughly enjoyed escaping into. It concerns Chase Huntington's endeavours to ensure the latest hotel in the chain started by her family is successfully completed and opened on time. She knows that if she does this the board will believe she's capable of running the hotel she wants. However, little does she realise that the Hotel's opening will coincide with that of a much smaller Inn in the same area, one that has been struggling through no real fault of the owner - who everyone in the area knows as Nonna. Nonna's grandson, Drago De Luca, is an international tycoon who has returned to help his grandmother - even to the extent that he'll convince the locals to help sabotage the opening of the Huntington's hotel, whilst he appears to be trying to help Chase sort things out. With double crossing like this, Chase is doomed to failure, but her personality and attitude make her a person everyone likes - including Drago! As he starts to reevaluate his lifestyle and attitude, he also gets to know and be even more attracted to Chase. With lies, double crossing and sabotage as well as romance, this certainly won't be a straightforward romance! The characters are well developed, with complex motivations and outlooks. Drago is a handsome, sexy, ruthless business man, someone who is used to going all out for what he wants and winning. Chase is a very independent person who finds it difficult to trust but is still fun-loving and compassionate as well as hard working. As Drago starts to recognise that Chase really isn't a hard headed goal orientated person like himself, her attitudes start to break down the walls around his heart and give him more of a conscience, encouraging him to rethink what he is doing. She starts to make friends within the local community and, for the first time, to feel at home there. What will happen when she discovers how people have been working to thwart her endeavours? What will happen when she learns the man she believed was helping her, the man she's growing to love, was actually working against her? You'll just have to read it for yourself to find out. As I said in my tweet, you've just got to love an Italian Dragon being tamed by love - and his Nonna!

Seducing the Tycoon blew me away with its diverse characters, beautiful descriptions, and a strong sense of family loyalty. The characters are very intriguing with completely different outlooks. Our hero, Drago De Luca, is charming, sexy, and above all, ruthless. Our heroine, Chase Huntington, is independent, fun, and compassionate. These two together make quite the pair. Chase and Drago’s journey to love is one you don’t want to miss! Drago, otherwise known as the Dragon, is back home to make sure his Nonna keeps her Inn. The Inn is everything to her and the only way for it survive is if the new Huntington hotel, pushes their opening date back. Chase needs her hotel to open without any problems. Doing so will land her a permanent position back home in Malibu. But with Drago holding the cards, Chase is in for the fight of her life. Drago sees Chase as a spoiled heiress who’s always had things handed to her. The more time he spends with her, the more he realizes how wrong he is and before he knows it, their attraction for each other turns into something more, something worthwhile, something worth fighting for and he must right his wrongs before he loses Chase for good. I loved both characters. Drago is pure business and a little misguided, but it works for him. All Chase wants is somewhere to call home and being in Italy, with Drago and Nonna, make her realize exactly where she belongs. Seducing the Tycoon was very enjoyable and the ending was perfect! Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the setting in Italy, the descriptions made me feel like I was there. Drago & Chase are wonderful characters and the loyalty to his (Drago)family was endearing. Chase was adorable in her fascination with the city and her connections with the locals.

"Seducing the Tycoon" by M.K. Meredith. This is Drago De Luca and Chase Huntington's story. I was hooked from the beginning. I fell in love with Drago and Chase's characters. You will also love Drago's grandmother Nonna. The descriptions of the Italian community made me feel as if I was there. Chase is in Italy to open the Huntington hotel for her father's business. If she can make a success of this, she is hoping that this will prove that she is capable of running her family's biggest hotel in California. Chase has spent most of her career traveling. She wants this job in California so that she can settle down and have a real home. Drago is in Italy to help his Nonna with her hotel. He feels guilty that he waited this long to help her. He is willing to do anything to help his Nonna. He is even willing to delay the opening of the Huntington hotel since it will hurt his Nonna's hotel. Drago and Chase meet but she thinks that he is helping her. In reality his goal to do anything to delay the opening of the Huntington hotel. But, as they spend time together Drago feels torn in what he is going to do. The chemistry between them is great! Will Drago sabotage Chase's opening? Or will they both take a chance on love? At first everybody thought of Chase as a rich American girl. As time went on I loved how Chase and the community fell in love with each other. I believe that since Chase had traveled so much in her life it made it easier for her to become a part of the community. It was great how she called everybody "love". FYI, includes mature content. I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

Awesome book! Loved the writing in this one, it was very descriptive and made me feel like I was sitting in Italy with the rest of the characters. Drago and the way he loved his family, especially his Nonna touched my Italian heart at it's core. The chemistry between Drago and Chase was great and you can see the train wreck coming when he isn't completely honest with her. As Chase gets more and more invested in the town and with all the people you can't help but hope she has finally found her home. I highly recommend this one!

A fun read! Watching two who aren’t looking for love stumble into it is always entertaining! American heiress Chase Huntington has come to Italy to oversee the grand opening of a new hotel in her family’s conglomerate. If she proves that she can do a great job here, she’s convinced it will earn her the coveted job she wants back home in Malibu, CA running the largest of her family’s hotels. She can’t fail! Drago De Luca is back home in Italy to figure out how to save his Nonna’s Inn. He sees Chase as huge competition that will force Nonna to close for good, so he sets out to sabotage her opening. He gets close to her and finagles with the locals behind her back, but the plan backfires when he starts to actually care about her! Will she forgive him when she learns of all of his lies? And will they ever be able to see a future together?

One of the foibles of humanity is making mistakes. Making a choice with the best of intentions but the execution ends up not working out like the plan. Drago in theory made decisions to help his family but along the way ended up hurting himself. While reading Seducing the Tycoon, I kept hearing the lyrics to Something Stupid in my head. The song is a cute twist on how an emotional bond and three simple words ("I Love You") can tie a person in knots and change the dynamic of their relationship. Chase got caught in the crossfire of Drago doing "something stupid" and neither would be the same. Ms. Meredith created an adorable story centered around a clueless hero and a insecure heroine. Humour, family, romance and wisdom - this story delivered on all counts.

I liked the book, but i really really don't like Drago. Drago, is not a dragon, He's a lowely snake. For Hero's, he's a pretty poor one. Thankfully i can look past his snake like ways and fall in love with a beautiful town, the people in it and Chase. The setting is beautiful. The pitting of two inn's open houses against each other is a great plot. Chase and Nona are such great, warm hearted people, I instantly fell in love with them both. The trials Chase has to go through to get the resort open are comical It keeps you turning the page to see what dirty deed will happen next and how her awesome, loving personality will win out. I'd love to see more books in this town the people and culture is addicting. A sense of family brought to life. The book has a few sexy scenes, they are so so.
