When Trend magazine contracts Lindstrom & Sons to manage a fashion shoot in Yellowstone, easygoing Lars Lindstrom rolls his eyes. “Babysitting” supermodel Samara Amaya’s assistant sounds like a snore, even amidst the park’s lush wildlife and scenery. Little does he know that Jane Mays, Samara’s down-to-earth, smart-mouthed assistant and cousin, will be the most exciting person he’s ever met. Her smoky voice and surprisingly sweet heart rock his world.

Jane has been hurt before, but this time it’s right. From loving the same music to their effortlessly sexy sparring, her handsome new tour guide gets her—and Jane is getting Lars right back until Samara blows into town. Used to living in her cousin’s shadow, Jane knows Lars will be nothing more than a notch in a bedpost if the spoiled supermodel has her way. In the past, maybe she would have stepped aside. This time she’ll find the strength to stand up to Samara once and for all...and trust that Lars will be there to catch her if she falls.

Another hit for Katy Regnery!! See Jane Fall is the 3rd book of the Heart of Montana series but it can be read as a standalone. But once you read See Jane Fall you will want to go back to the other books – because you will fall in love with Gardiner, Montana and the Lindstrom family.  I loved Lars and Jane’s love story! With the Heart of Montana series author Katy Regnery has taken us along the ride with the Lindstrom siblings, as they each search for their own happiness.  I love this series because of the family unity of the Lindstroms (they aren’t perfect but when it comes down to it they truly love and protect one another). I love the small town setting filled with characters that are realistic and that we can identify with. And I love that this series is about finding your soul mate. The previous books made me laugh and cry, and made my heart pound from swoon worthy moments. See Jane Fall brought out all those emotions again, but I was really surprised to feel something new:  anger and hatred.  All because of one character – Samara Amaya!  I actually started hating this character from the first chapter – and these were just from Jane’s narrative. Samara hadn’t even made an official appearance in the story yet! I was immediately surprised at how I had this reaction and also because of how the author stirred this up within me. Katy Regnery has written some memorable scenes in all her books that have touched my heart, so it was nice to see this other side of the author.  She has shown that she can write the sweet romance but also write the conflict and drama that adds excitement to the story. See Jane Fall was a nice surprise and it was so difficult for me to put down. See Jane Fall is the story of “Plain Jane” Mays falling in love with the sexy tour guide Lars Lindstrom.  This is a story about two people that are a perfect match – they love the same music, have the same sense of humor, and appreciate the beautiful Yellowstone park.  And they also are both working for family that do not appreciate them and are holding them back from their dreams.  Even though they are a perfect match, their insecurities and fears will get in the way of their happiness.  See Jane Fall is not a “perfect” romance story.  It is a complicated and realistic love story about two people that have to learn that you need to stand-up and fight for what you want.  Will Jane and Lars learn this important lesson in time before they lose their chance of happiness?  You have to read See Jane Fall to find out.  I highly recommend this book to all romance novel fans. You will get hooked on the Heart of Montana series!!

A couple you want to see together! See Jane Fall was the first book I read by Katy Regnery. I was rooting for Jane and Lars to get together as soon as they met. Their story was moving, funny and heart-rending, everything a good love story should be. Add in a perfectly hissable villain and you have a great read. The language was a bit frank and I found it a jarring note at times, but that could have been the author's intent. A very minor quibble indeed. Overall a moving love story.

I haven't read any of the other books of this series and this was #3 of that series but I now want to read # 1 and #2 and any that come after this one. The story is mainly about Jane and Lars love story. Though it is a love story first, it is so much more too.  Jane having experiencing tragedy at a young age has many emotionally scars and cousin Sara adds to them. Lars comes from a loving big family. The immediate chemistry is undeniable but is that enough? I waited the whole book to see Jane get back at cousin Sara for the pain and misery she caused Jane but in the end I was surprised that I actually felt empathy towards her.  I enjoyed the book. It was a quick, light read with a great ending. I will definitely look for more books, especially a illy the ones of this series, by Kate Regnery!

Sassy Love Story with a Challenge to Embrace the Present While Letting Go of Past Hurts See Jane Fall is a story about a young women who works as a personal assistant to a stuffy, arrogant, supermodel who happens to be her cousin. Jane was orphaned at age 10.  Her dad's twin brother took her into his family to live and brought up with Sara.  Sara, who had been a great playmate as a cousin was suddenly determined to make Jane's life miserable.  That was bad enough as kids, now as an adult Jane lives with Sara' demeaning and humiliating her often and publicly. We pick up their story as Jane is headed to Montano three days ahead of Sara, as per normal routine, to make sure all is ready for a magazine photo shoot. The first person Jane meets is Lars, her tour guide of sorts. His family, the Linstroms own the tour/travel company handling all the people coming in for the magazine photo shoot.  Fireworks begin and we have a romance that is stop, go, hot, cold and a story we just can not lay down until the last page is finishes. Regnecy creates a character in Jane we all will rally for and in Samara (who is Sara but she wanted something a bit more snappy) we will all want to strangle!  Regnecy does not shy away from developing characters with deep seated issues.  Jane's inner turmoil, her feelings of isolation and her raging fear of being rejected by any man once they meet Samara are the constant throughout our story.  And Samara feeds all those emotions in cruel ways.  The overall setting of the book was one of romantic suspense and personal freedom.  This was played well at times, at other times it was entirely predictable.  Jane's wishy washiness about believing Lar's became almost maddening.  Lar's family and the community of Gardiner, Montana is penned beautifully, a real strength of the story.  With the stroke of a pen Regnecy places the reader on the streets of Gardiner, in the coffee house, on the porch  at the Linstrom's and feeling the breeze from the mountains.  Her development of relationship among  the Linstrom family gives depth to the story and brings something almost any reader can identify.  Her writing style is smooth and easy to follow.  Her transtion from one scene to the next are without notice.  The reader just keeps turning the page.  My first time to read one of Katy Regnecy's books? Yes.  My last?  I hope not!
