Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This was the second book in this series, and I don't know if it was that I was so excited about the book, but I did not enjoy it as much as I did the first one, now don't get me wrong, it was still good, and I did still enjoy it, but I had loved the first one, Dimi and Erin had captured my heart. I liked Tessa, even from the first book, poor girl had went thru so much, from having a wacked mom, not that she meant to be that way, but the poor lady just couldn't help herself, but she tended to forget that she had a second daughter, and that part broke my heart. Then there was Luke, I understood that he had gone thru a lot, but he just didn't my sympathy, I think Tessa deserved someone better, but I had to remind myself that they were teenagers and not to hold it against him. We got to see Erin and Dimi briefly, very briefly and that part just about killed me, I had wanted just a little more of the, but I get it story is not about them, but it would have been nice, to catch up with them, but I am hopeful that we will get to read more about their relationship when Natalie's book comes out, because I can't wait for that, she deserves it. Anyway, don't wait, catch yourself up, we still get a lot of hours of entertainment.
