Overview

James and Tessaira grew up in a tiny town surrounded by trees with only one way in or out. In the mountains of Pennsylvania, the two formed a lifelong friendship. Until Tessaira decided to move.

At twenty four years old, Tessaira Faye Jones, AKA Tess, left the only life she ever knew to go to New York and pursue her dream of becoming a columnist for one of the most well known newspapers in the world. What she leaves behind is her parents, her childhood, and her best friend. She had never known another person like him, and now in New York, he crosses her mind from time to time.

After losing his father to the mines that surrounded the tiny town he and Tess grew up in, James Ryan Addler, AKA Jimmy, has finally found the courage to sign on with a record label. He’s ready for what New York has to offer while working on his new CD, but doesn’t expect to run into the one person who stole his heart.

Jimmy and Tess never say good bye. It is always: See you soon.

Meet the Author

Lindsay Chamberlin is an author who is self publishing her own works. She grew up in Northern Virginia and has been writing since she was a teenager. She would constantly write in a journal, including her day to day life and random thoughts that she found noteworthy.

When she graduated from high school with English Honors and Math Honors, she knew her life would go in one of two ways. She would either become a writer or work in finance.

Finance won. Until recently, she did not think her dream of being a known author would ever come true, but thanks to self publishing, she is finally able to get her work out to the public in hopes that they will enjoy her short stories, novels, and select poems.

Her wish for her readers is that they will find themselves within her novels, living out every scene with the characters as if they were there with them.

Books are meant for our silent escape into another world that would normally exist only in our dreams. Please, enjoy!

Reads more like a teenaged girl imagining what a grown up life in New York would be like than anything close to a real romance with realistic characters or emotions.

why are all of the reviews anonymous for this book? The book had a good story line but I figured out after chapter one that it was written by a young person.

This seemed like a teenager's story at times. I enjoyed the story but felt they acted stupid and foolish. It is hard to believe that two adults were so immature.

Very juvenile writting. Lots of sex. I can not believe I wasted my money on this. My recommendation is not to waste your time or money on this book. I wiah I had not. If you must read, this is for adults because of sexual content. AD
