EEEKKKKKKKKKK!  Wait, what’s happening?   Is this for real? What the hell happened in Costa Rico? Will Lillith ever remember?  Will Ashley ever forgive her? Is she really crazy? Who is Sebastian Brand?  Is he playing games? Why can no one but Lillith see him?  Is he really sexing her down at the Summermount Psychiatric Hospital?  And why is she there? After reading this novella, those were all of the questions I had to know. A great way to open up the Delirious series, and I was deliriously trying to figure out what’s going to happen next to our dear Lillith. I don’t know if everything she told us was the truth. After all, she was in a psychiatric hospital, but some of what she said seemed factual. She didn’t get those notes on her own accord (or did she).  Either way, the suspense was killing me, and I have an inkling that this series will just only get better with each installment. My ratings: 4.5 stars Time it took to read: 5 hours This is a must read, but be warned there is a cliff hanger.

Lillith is in a mental hospital and she can't remember why? She can remember going on vacation with her best friend right after her father died. She remembers getting a phone call, then nothing after that really. Except for a man named Sebastian Brand. He comes and visits her at the mental hospital or at least she thinks he does. All the doctors and nurses tell her that he doesn't. That she is making it all in her head to coop with whatever happened to her. They are trying to help her remember but she has pushed it so deep because she knows that whatever happened was so terrible she won't survive if she does remember. Is he real or just her imagination? She swears to herself that she will get out and track him down. They will be together. Will she get out and find him? If she does will he be everything she thinks he is? I really liked this prequel. It doesn't give anything away for the first book at all. It just talks about her time in the mental hospital. Her friend is in there too. Her friend is so mad at Lillith because she thinks that Lillith just doesn't want to tell not that she really can't remember. Lillith feels horrible because she won't let herself remember so that she can get her and her friend out of there. She knows that something terrible has happened to her and that she should remember to get past it but she just can't let herself remember. She clings to Sebastian because he lets her forget all about everything. I look forward to reading the rest of this series. I was given this book in return for an honest review.
