Selfies, ELM Anthology #2 Twelve people gathered in a room to listen to a proposal which was clearly insane. Let’s publish a book, from scratch, in eight weeks. Many of the twelve were new to fiction writing, but the title of the class, “A Novel By Committee,” had intrigued them. My friend and co-worker, Lilia B Messer, wanted to take a writing class. She is one of the 12. Her short-story, ‘Train Ride to the Pearly Gates’ is a beautiful love story with heart. I’ve read most of the 13 stories and each is unique in its own way. A lot of heart went into each story whether it was a love story, a western or a mystery. Selfies, has something for everyone.
