I was so glad to be able to see what happens with Seraphina. As with all of the writings of Marata Eros, I invest myself in each character. At the end of 9, Seraphina was kidnapped by the were, and I was so afraid for her. The Druid Series, though erotic and dark, is also sensual and romantic. My heart breaks when a character, I happen to like, dies. And, following along the same lines, I get upset when one is abused. Seraphina falls into this category. It's tough to watch her receive the unwanted attentions she does from more than one were in more than one way. But, it warms my heart to know that Altho has not given up on her. The story moves quickly and didn't give me time for a breath. It was so exciting and gritty, I read it in one sitting and had to go back to read it again. As with many of her series, we are left with another cliff hanger that we must see through. I'm looking forward to the next installment in the series.
