I bought it and finished it all in one day. It kept me laughing, but also brought up important topics about being yourself. I highly suggest it!

She writes like she's talking to you - it felt more like a funny warmhearted conversation - very enjoyable.

In the book Seriously...... I'm kidding is a book of laughter. Ellen shares hilarious stories about anything and everything you could think of and she somehow makes hysterical jokes out of them. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes to read comedy. I personally could not stop laughing. If you enjoy the Ellen Show there is no doubt that you would not like this book. It is nonstop funniness and enjoyable, by far one of the best book I could read!

I think Ellen's new book, Seriously... I'm Kidding, is delightful. Those who think the book is not deep or serious enough, should look at the title and consider Ellen's stand-up humor, which is usually rambling observations and experiences. Just sit back and laugh at the ridiculousness. It isn't supposed to be a serious autobiography!

I picked this book because I wanted an easy read that would not be boring, and that is exactly what it did! Ellen talks to you like she is sitting right across from you and uses her humor to better your day. It only took me two nights to read and I was cracking up the whole time! There are chapters such as a tweet chapter (140 characters), how to be a supermodel, dreams, journal entries, and one of my personal favorites the secret life of kale part one and part two. LOL. Through this book Ellen just gives her life in a motto that basically says be happy, laugh alot, and help others. It was a great read for me and honestly made me laugh so hard, who can resist that??? READ ME I'M HILARIOUS!!!

I wish Ellen would write a serious book about herself, her experiences, her life etc. Thats what I was hoping for in this book but was again disappointed. If you want a quick occasional laugh its still okay... but otherwise, find something else.

This is THE funniest book I have ever read! I felt as if Ellen was reading it to me. If you need inspiration and laughter, look no farther. I read this in a few hours, and will read it many more times in the future. This will be a book everyone should expect to get as a gift from me. Read it and pay it forward!

I really enjoyed this book. Definitely made me laugh out loud a few times. There were a few chapters that were short and pointless, but if you watch her show, youll understand her humor. Overall, loved this book and will be recommending it!

Oh my gosh, I was so disappointed with this book. I downloaded the audio version, thinking I could walk and laugh. Except for a few minor chuckles, there was never a time I laughed out loud. I was so disappointed by the book. She read her own book, so the book is in her voice, and seeing her doing standup once, I laughed so much I hurt. I have enjoyed her show…but this book just wasn’t funny. It was just bland…just blah. No real insight to her life, no funny stories of her life, just little tiny chapters that are…so-so. I think I’ll stick with her show.
