If you have an opinion on gay marriage, Catholic priest child molestation, or cheating in "until death do us part" monogamous relationships, you owe it to yourself and anyone you may engage on these subjects to read this book. While it could be accused of being so blunt as to risk offending religious readers, particularly at the beginning, there is important biological and anthropological research that should be considered crucial to any future discussion of human sexuality in either a moral or legal sense. "Abstinence-only" sex education, for example, has failed and simply cannot address the natural biological processes which drive human behavior. If you tried to read "Sex at Dawn: The Prehistoric Origins of Human Sexuality" and found it difficult to keep going, this is the book you're looking for.
