Can a man play with fire and not get burned? The Bible doesn't think so. Sexual temptation is subtle and deceitful. The devil tries to convince us that a little lust is all right. But “a little” is never enough, is it? Lust’s sole desire is to so completely control our hearts that we long for, and then do, the worst sins as if they are perfectly natural. It always promises great and wonderful pleasures, but it never tells us they will last only for a moment and then be followed by long-term pain and suffering beyond imagination. So how can we resist? By consistently renewing our minds with God’s truth. In this brief devotion, I'll show you how.
