Notebooks and sketch pads were always found near him.Inspired by poets such as Saul Williams and Common, Jamaal loves to use metaphors and similes to described different emotions and feelings of love. Jamaal has been writing since middle school but only started getting comfortable with himself and performing his poetry his senior year of high school and throughout college.
