I love all the Archer books. This writer knows how to weave history around his story line. It will grab you and keep you turning the pages and wanting to know the outcome but also at the same time not wanting the story to end. He endears his characters to his readers so that the readers care what happens to them. I recommend reading the Prodigal Daughter first so you know the background and the characters better to understand the story. The book Kane and Abel is also a book that should be read before both of the above. Archer never disappoints the reader. I also loved the Sins of the Father series.

I won't spoil the story by giving any information about it. I'm a huge fan of suspense, intrigue, law enforcement, spy stuff, and political thrillers . . . this is right up there with the best. I cannot wait to read the rest of Jeffrey Archer's books! This is a must-read! Don't start it before bedtime, unless you want to stay up late reading because it's a page-turner!

"Shall We Tell The President" by Jeffrey Archer was the first book I ever read from start to finish. I couldn't put it down. I read while on vacation in Israel in 1981 while visiting Mt. Masada and floating in the Dead Sea.

I'm a Jeffrey Archer fan and have read 99% of his books. This was a bit different from some of his others, but still his usual good story-telling. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and did not put it down very often.

I would recommend this book to anyone that has enjoyed reading any of Jeffrey Archer's other books, (or if it would be your first one of his)! It had been a long time since I had read his other book "Prodigal Daughter", that it took my daughter to show me the connection between the President in "Shall we tell..." and Able's daughter from the Kane and Able and Prodigal Daughter books. Very good book. Don't miss out!

An extremely good book. Lets you enter the life of an over-worked F.B.I. agent for a week. A few slow spots but nothing to complain about. Excellent mystery.
