Overview

Tara Sharp can see auras, and it's ruining her life. When she tries to turn her inconvenient secret into a paying gig, her first job lands her in the middle of a tug of war between the biggest, baddest crime lord in town and the hottest business man Tara has ever met. With only a narcoleptic ex-roadie, her pet galah and a vanilla slice for back up, Tara is ready to take on trouble with a capital 'T'.

I thought it was a great book! Too bad I can't afford to buy all in series. I read a book a day, I have to stick to the free books. It really is a bummer when I find a good series and can't read them all.

This story reminded me of those old black & white mobster shows

First off, if you aren't familiar with Aussie terms, you will need a dictionary. I am so happy I have friends in OZ and NZ or this could have been a nightmare. This was a fun mystery, adventure & romp around the city of Perth. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

HORRIBLE! I don't understand the positive reviews. Maybe they read a different book. It sure couldn't have been this one! Not only was this book boring and didn't make sense but the characters were lousy. Tara was dumb. Her mother was a joke -- who "walks their birds" and FORCES their grown daughter do it when she can't? I really tried since the premise sounded interesting and actually read 13 (short) chapters before dumping this waste of time. Thank goodness this crap was free.

Loved this book. The heroine is quirky and fun. Smart and the aura thing fascinates me. I will continue the series as I can afford them.
