Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
PreS-Gr 3—In this delightful book, a girl is presented with creepy crawly creatures that she doesn't want. Beckstrand's humorous rhyming text captures her reaction to each one. The text is written in blue crayon but changes colors for the animals' names. The bright illustrations are fun and capture the sentiments of the narrative. This bilingual version of the story includes a pronunciation key. The Spanish translation tries to maintain the rhyming flow but sometimes disrupts the syntax. Online activities complement the presentation.—Ana Rodriguez, Tamarac Elementary School, FL
