The characters are zany, the rhymes are enchanting. Written in the same vein as the Dr. Suess easy-readers, this book, Sheep In A Jeep, would be a great addition to your home librsry. My sons really enjoy it.

I had not been exposed to the other books in the series, but I definitely believe Sheep In A Jeep is just darling and the rhymes make it so much fun. My son can just now read this on his own, an better yet, he wants to!!

The rhyming very entertaining and the illustrations vivid. It's not too long, not too short and we read it over and over. Will purchase others from this author and illustrator.

I bought this book after reading the online reviews. As cute as this book is, it is not on the same level as the classics.

I purchased Sheep in a Jeep for my grand daughter for Christmas but as soon as it arrived I wanted to read it. These sheep are a mess! I laughed and laughed as their ride continued-or not. I showed my daughter who had the same reaction....be careful as you read this out loud because you will have serious difficultly getting to the end without laughing and crying at the same time! A great addition to any story time.

Very good stuff: few words (all of which rhyme), apt and lively illustrations, and good timing. "Sheep weep," indeed.

This is a great book because my young son can read it without any problems and he's just learning to read on his own.

I was first introduced to Sheep in a Jeep as a preschool teacher. Catchy and clever, it was a hit with my students. Now as a mother of two, I made sure that it was a part of our home library. Not only can my girls recite the whole story, but so can their grandparents and aunts and uncles!!

My son and I had the privilege of meeting Nancy Shaw at the Grand Rapids, Michigan Children's Museum. She was gracious and playful with the children and shared how she came up with the ideas for her books (this, her first, she wrote while stuck in commuter traffic). Her simple yet charming rhymes and the lush illustrations by Margot Apple make this a favorite book for both my son and my nephew. (As a side note, Nancy Shaw is a talented illustrator in her own right.) We love this book so much, my son chose to give it to his preschool so they could enjoy it, too!

Nancy Shaw does a wonderful job with her books. The rhymes captivate her audience from age zero to 100! My nephew loves this book, as do I! I recommend this book to everyone!

It's hard to resist the urge to just divulge a few of the rhymes here, but I won't spoil the fun. This book is a study in brevity and extremely charming illustrations. If you're hesitating, don't! This one will become an instant family favorite - guaranteed!
