About the Author

Greg Asimakoupoulos is an ordained minister and freelance writer. Over four decades, Greg has served congregations of The Evangelical Covenant Church in Washington, California and Illinois. Since 2013 he has been the fulltime chaplain at Covenant Living at the Shores. Greg is the author of thirteen books including The Ptarmigan Telegraph, Prayers from My Pencil, Sunday Rhymes and Reasons, and Finding God in 'It's a Wonderful Life'. He is a regular columnist for three newspapers and a frequent contributor to Christian periodicals. His weekly poetic commentary (Rhymes and Reasons) can be accessed at: Greg and his wife Wendy have three grown daughters and two granddaughters. They live on Mercer Island in suburban Seattle.
