Shiloh and Sophie
It was early morning and the sun was already brightly shining. Shiloh, the Eskimo Poo who lived with his owner Austin, was overjoyed because he knew that his neighbor, Susan had brought home a new puppy!
"Oh boy!" "Oh gosh!" Shiloh thought as he paced his home with excitement.
Shiloh wondered when he would get a sneak peek at the new pup. Scampering through his home with his tail wagging, he stopped quickly at the backdoor in the kitchen with a startled look on his face.
He froze and thought to himself, "When will I get a chance to meet the new pup?" "How long will I have to wait?" he thought.
Suddenly to his surprise Susan's back door flung wide open making a big bang against the brick house.
THERE SHE WAS! A beautiful black and brown colored Yorkie! She nervously waddled down the steps ... and she did not look happy.
"Woof! Woof! Woof!"
Shiloh boldly let out a few barks as he danced around the kitchen showing off his fancy foot-work.
Austin was busy reading the morning newspaper and enjoying his cup of coffee.
Jumping up and down Shiloh barked some more while scratching his nails against the sliding glass door.
"Okay!" said Austin, "I guess it is time for you to go out and do your duty."
As he opened the door, Shiloh raced down the back steps as fast as he could. Running up and down his yard, tail wagging; he could hardly control his excitement.

I love the way this book is writen but there are a couple of parts i did not understand ! ):
A cute book! My son loved hearing the story of making a new friend. He said it reminded him of when we moved and he made new friends with our neighbors. Very well written.
I thought the book was so well done. I read it to a couple of my grandchildren and they simply loved it. They also loved looking at the illustrations which were done so well. The book had a good moral story. Looking forward to the next book. Dee Meara
