About the Author

Patricia Probert Gott is a retired business woman, adventurer and author of fourteen books. From her home in western Maine she has been trail riding in fourteen states of the U.S. and in eleven countries. For several summers she was a ranch wrangler and trail guide in Cody, Wyoming.
Ms Gott owns two Arabian horses; Shiloh is one of her horses. She began riding at the age of eight and has owned, raised, and trained horses ever since, accounting for her knowledge and experience with horses as detailed in her cowgirl books and horse stories.
