Sadly, this book with such a guilty pleasure promising premise, was a DNF for me.  Plus Size Heroine, Yea! Rock Star Hero, Huzzah! Unusual Yacht Setting, Woo Hoo!  Shipwreck Survival Story, Sign Me Up! However, right away we have weight cruelty and overly defensive interior monologue. There are plot reason for the fat shaming by another character that are actually interesting but it was still a rough entry into the book.  The hero was not so likable at first which I can handle but I never really warmed to him and the heroine was so prickly and conflicted I couldn't settle into liking her either.  The setting held up but honestly, with so many other great books begging to be read on my TBR I skimmed to the shipwreck part and to the end and never found a place I wanted to spend my time.  The leads just didn't work for me I am sorry to say. You might have a better read.  I was given this book for my honest review. So, there you have it.

Received an ARC copy from Netgalley for a honest review. OMG! I loved this book. Storyline was well written, intriguing and hot along with a few unexpected twists. You have a hot rock star, a sassy chef and a deserted island. Oh yeah, and a cat named Ozzy. Loved Adam and Hannah from the start. Both are running from something and deal with it in different ways. They have undeniable passion and chemistry. As they get to know each other, they realize they are more a like than what they thought. Loved the writing style of this author. She has a way of making the characters realistic. Would definitely recommend.

This was the first book that I have read from this author and as soon as I was done I went shopping for more titles. I really enjoyed these characters and the writing style of this book. I laughed out loud and that is always my sign that I will recommend a book! This is a great read with romance and mystery. I am hoping that this the start of a series because I want/need to see more from our rock star's band mates!

I received this story from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Hannah was called upon to be a replacement chef aboard the yacht rented for Billionaire Rock Star Adam Sykes of Iron Hammer. After a few bad choices, Iron Hammer's manager decides a getaway for Adam, to relax and find himself, is what he needs.  Adam is deemed unlikable until a set of circumstances forces him to slowly shed his rock god persona & allow his true self to show through. Only then can Hannah and Adam begin to learn and understand one another. This book is the first I've read by Victoria Wessex and I found it to be well-written with excellent character and world building. I really enjoyed Floyd & Ozzy, but am saddened that they were not included in the epilogue. The circumstances surrounding the shipwreck were suspected and confirmed, but that did not detract much. I also wish the book were just a little bit longer, but it still felt full and complete. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4.25/5.0

Good Book! Wow, I found this book to be synonymous with riding a roller-coaster, with its constant twisting and turning, as you scream on the top of your lungs with both happiness and fear. I experienced every emotion know to woman while reading Shipwrecked with the Billionaire Rock Star, and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. This is a suspenseful, sometimes laugh-out-loud romantic adventure that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Due to the backstabbing and embarrassment from a previous relationship, Hannah, a curvy gourmet chef, has spent the last two years of her life hiding, while cooking at sea. She ends up as a temporary chef for Adam Sykes, the amazing rock god and billionaire, during his two week vacation through the Caribbean on his yacht. Somehow Hannah and Adam manage to make it to a small remote island, after the yacht and all the crew disappear during a massive storm. Luckily they have each other to lean on, and little by little they let their barriers down and fall in love. Come to find out, the yacht was sabotaged and Adam was supposed to perish during the storm. I enjoyed this book. Hannah and Adam are extremely likeable, honest and interesting characters. The plot is fast-paced and definitely suspenseful. So if you love a hot, romantic chiller, check out this book.

Loved this story!! This is book is different than anything Victoria Wessex has written and it is just as good as her other stories. This story is about Hannah, a curvy no nonsense Chef and billionaire Rock Star, Adam!! Hannah just wants to do her job and doesn't like Adam flirting with her which she makes it known to him. Adam wants to know her better, but she is making it hard. There is a lot of sexual tension between the two but the actual first "real" sex scene doesn't take place until the middle of the book. There is also a mystery that must be solved and we learn if they every get off the island... I was given this book for an honest review..
