Meet the Author

Karen S. Robbins is the author of Care For Our World, Big Bulletin Boards: A Cooperative ApproachXear Round
Holiday Crafts, and numerous magazine articles. Karen has been an elementary school teacher, "Miss Karen" on television's Romper Room Show, and a university instructor. Karen holds a master of education degree from the University of Puget Sound. Karen's passion is children and books. She lives in Seattle, Washington where she writes, crafts, and designs books and toys for kids.

Salty Marts s a freelance designer/illustrator. She began her career as an artist for a major department store,
where she illustrated newspaper ads for many years. While designing for a large toy company, she discovered her joy creating for children Since then, Sally has focused her career on the kid's market. She has illustrated books, educational materials, posters, fabrics, and designed toys and packaging. Sally works from her studio in Seattle, Washington which she shares with her dog Henry.
