A thin diary by a man of epic self-absorption and vacuity. The Morgan book masquerades as gun control advocacy but it is, in fact, about his celebrity fawning and groveling. He rehashes the Dunblane, Scotland massacre and the U.S. versus Britain gun deaths statistics, and if I hear his ratings-driven schtick I may take a gun to my head out of boredom and disgust. I am a staunch gun control advocate, but I don't want this faker being a spokesman for the crusade. All he has managed to do with his name-calling is galvanize the followers of the very guests he insults. His book is a travesty.

his arguments for gun control stem from his inability to understand the america has guns to protect us from tyranny. and if anyone was ALLOWED to be armed in that aurora movie theatre then hey that joker guy wouldve been shot in two seconds, but instead they say oh well too many people have guns when in fact they ALREADY banned protection and hence that why no one was protected.

Piers may not be everyone's cup of tea, but neither am I.  Perhaps that's why I found his book to be a delight.  Piers has a quick wit, and ability to ask the direct questions (and get them answered).  He is a voice of reason regarding America's obsession with guns, and reasonable ways to help decrease our gun violence. The book is a diary style format, and easy reading.  A pleasure.
