About the Author

Kelly McClymer loves to do the research for her novels. For the Mystery Shopping Mom Mystery series, she actually spent two years mystery shopping and hanging out on the shopper loops. She also hung out with her kids to give the mom role some authenticity. She did not hang out with any serial killers.

I got the book for free, but actually read book 2 - License to Kill. Don't knoe what happened but it was halfway through the book before the mystery started and it wasn't that compelling. Not much character development.

This was a fun book that was a bit slow at first. The author totally captures with humor the struggles of a mom that does not earn an income. . If you are married to a man that you simultaneously love and want to hit with a frying pan you will like this book.

The crazy thing is: I ordered this book Shop and Let Die, which I believe was the first book. However, although it had the correct cover photo and overview, the actual story is License to Shop, the second book. So confusing! Glad it was free and if I see the other book, I will not pay for it because it may be the wrong book again.
