About the Author

Kate McPhail worked in the education field for over 25 years. Most of her classroom time was working with Kindergarten and Preschool-aged children. She also spent several years in management and trainer positions in Early Childhood classrooms and programs.
Kate raised four children and fostered 59. She also was a host parent to six foreign students.

In 2015, Kate retired from teaching and lives in beautiful Southern Oregon with her cats, Jake and MoJo. She is a full time writer and entrepreneur.
