Shortest Journey based on 0 ratings. 3 reviews.
I recently discovered the Hazel Holt books and am so glad I did. I am a great fan of the British cozy and this really hits the spot; no unseemly behavior except for the occasional murder or mishap. I love the village life, decriptions of the seasons, the gossips, respectful attention to the aged, the slower pace. It seems she looked in to my soul and wrote her books just for me. The Shortest Journey had a surprising twist at the end and I had to break out the tissues. Some may find them too slow, but I think they are just right.
